Theresa tracked down a shirtless Jared at the carnival to apologize for concealing her Crane identity. She denied being a golddigger and vowed to use her wealth and power to do good things. Gwen and a shirtless Ethan, Whitney and a shirtless Chad listened in as Theresa pleaded for another chance. No dice, Jared insisted that he wants a down-to-earth woman and normal life. A little while later when Theresa was by herself, Pilar approached and pushed her daughter to let Ethan know he sired her son. “Mama, he doesn’t want to be with me,” argued Theresa, pointing out that Jared is just not that into her either. Meanwhile, Chad and Ethan, who had donned shirts, talked about Theresa and Jared. Chad saw through his pal’s weak claim that he is sorry things didn’t work out for Theresa, which prompted Ethan’s admission that he still loves his ex.

At the fair, Kay was surprised to see a furious Siren, who had escaped Kay’s trap. Kay once again warned that she would reveal the mermaid’s secret, but Siren just laughed and taunted that Fox can’t have sex with Kay. When her nemesis was gone, Kay spoke to one of the carnival planners about a job for “her friend”. When the planner agreed, Kay flashed a victorious grin. Later on, Kay and Fox took a ride in the tunnel of love, the ride got stuck in and he wanted to get it on, but then went into a trance. He snapped out of it and the ride started again, Kay was frustrated. Miguel helped Fancy find the booth she’d been assigned to (thanks to Kay). She flipped when she saw that it was the water-dunking game. Unable to get out of it, Fancy got in the tank and was promptly dunked.

When Tabitha’s pitching failed to win her a prize for Endora, the little girl secretly used magic to get the stuffed animals. When the vendor cried that he’d been robbed, Tabby rushed off with the tiny bandit. Endora refused to return the toys, so Tabitha had to keep running.

Theresa showed up to take her place as target in the pie-tossing booth. Gwen gleefully stepped up and lobbed a cream pie in her rival’s face. Theresa was good natured when Gwen tossed another pie. “This is much better than therapy,” laughed Gwen, who continued to throw the tasty treats. A crowd gathered around the spectacle. When Whitney spotted Jared, she happily told herself that now he’d see Theresa is a regular girl. After the crowd left, Theresa invited Jared to take aim. He picked up a pie and smashed it into his own face. They grinned at each other.

Spike showed up outside the cottage to get the security code to the Crane mansion. When Chris hesitated, Spike threatened to expose Chris’s secret to Sheridan. Making sure Sheridan didn’t know what was going on, Chris handed over the code. To get his wife away from the scene , Chris took her to dinner at the Lobster Shack. She beamed over the romantic gesture, but the smile was wiped off her face when Luis and Fancy entered. The cop and cadet exchanged playful banter. When Fancy spied another pretty diner play dumb about being able to crack lobster, she used the same trick so Luis could feel all manly. When Sheridan and Fancy ran into each other outside the powder room, Sher pointed out that Fancy is capable of cracking lobster shells. Fancy explained that though she wants Luis to see her as strong and capable on the job, it’s good to be all soft and feminine sometimes. Sheridan pouted about the deception of it all. (If she only knew.) After listening to Fancy coo about Luis, Sheridan glumly mused to herself that she never fell out of love with Luis.

As Chris broke into the manse, Pilar returned from the fair, neither of them saw the other. When she heard a noise, Pilar phoned the police, Spike came up behind her with a gun and pulled the trigger. Pilar collapsed to the floor.
