Sam was surprised to see Noah return home. Noah became outraged at Spike when Sam filled him in on what happened with Spike and Jessica. Noah offered to help his father deal with Jessica. Sam asked Noah if his change of heart had anything to do with Fancy Crane. Sam admitted to his father the details of his troubles in Vegas. Sam exploded when he learned that Noah and Fancy got mixed up with the mob. Sam became even more flabbergasted when he learned that Alistair took care of Noah’s mob problem. Sam warned Noah about being indebted to Alistair. Noah explained that he is technically indebted to Fancy. Sam wondered why Fancy would do something nice for him. Sam laughed when he learned that Noah was taking Fancy out on the town. Noah asked to borrow Sam’s tux.
Pilar dropped some clothing off to Sheridan for Mark. Sheridan explained that the boy’s real name is James, and that Chris is his father. In her own mind, Pilar silently worried that Sheridan is setting herself up for more heartbreak with James and Chris. Pilar warned Sheridan that she might be subconsciously substituting Marty for James, but Sheridan insisted that she knew the difference. Pilar quietly doubted her.
Eve asked everyone to give her a moment to collect herself before she announced her decision. She tearfully told Julian and TC that she wants another chance with her family. Julian consoled her and told him he understood. A drunken Liz asked him how he could understand having his heart ripped out and stomped on “by that bitch.” She then asked TC how he could take back a “a slut, an addict and a murderer.” Eve gave Julian back his engagement ring. When Liz turned her tongue onto Eve, TC and Julian came to Eve’s defense, and told Liz to shut the hell up. A scorned Liz lashed out at TC and accused him of using her for cheap sex then throwing her away. Julian manhandled her out of the Russell house. Liz threatened to help send Eve to jail during her upcoming trial in retaliation to everyone. Overhearing all of this commotion from the kitchen, Simone became upset and depressed at the thought that despite Eve’s assurances, her family is still too wrapped up in their own problems and melodrama to give a damn about her.
Theresa picked out the most conservative, unflattering dress she could for her date with Alistair. But Alistair would have none of it, and ordered her to change into a sexy, revealing outfit. Once Theresa passed Alistair’s inspection with her new outfit he presented her with a gift: a diamond and ruby bracelet. When Theresa said she couldn’t accept such a big gift, Alistair said to consider it an “advance” that she will soon be earning. Alistair was excited when he sensed that Theresa was afraid of him. As Alistair waited for Theresa downstairs, Theresa slipped off to the pool, where she checked in on Little Ethan and Jane, who were with Gwen and Ethan. Ethan spied Theresa’s sexy outfit and expensive bracelet on Theresa’s wrist and admonished her for going ahead with her “deal” with Alistair. Back inside the Crane mansion, Fancy got excited as she primped and prepared herself for her “one glorious night” with Noah. Alistair quizzed her on who she was going out on a date with. Fancy stonewalled. Alistair presented Fancy with a gift, and told her she’s the one member of the family who never disappoints him. When Julian returned home to drown his sorrows in brandy, he was taunted by Alistair, who took pleasure in learning of Julian’s break-up. When Alistair called Eve a black drug-addicted whore, Julian punched out his father. Alistair declared that in retaliation he has a surprise for Julian and the entire family that none of them are going to like…
