Hayden Panettiere (ex-Sarah Roberts, 1994-97)
Panettiere was just 5 when she joined the show, but went on to make her mark in daytime portraying Lizzie on GUIDING LIGHT (from 1996-2000), where she tackled storylines involving leukemia and murder. At age 14, the young actress has already starred in more than 20 projects, including A Bug’s Life, Message In A Bottle, Remember The Titans and ALLY McBEAL.
Erin Torpey (ex-Jessica, 1990-2003)
Torpey, who took over as Jessica when she was 9, literally grew up on the soap, and won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Teen Performer in 1997 and another as Favorite Teen Star in 2000. Since leaving OLTL at the beginning of 2003, she has moved to California, where she is pursuing acting and singing. “I say, this is just a job, and do it as long as you love it,” she revealed in the 8/27/02 Digest. “And when you start not to love it anymore, you have to do something different.”
Ryan Phillippe (ex-Billy Douglas, 1992-93)
OLTL, where he portrayed one of daytime’s few gay teens, was this A-lister’s first TV role. Since then, Phillippe has skyrocketed to success with such movies as I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions, Igby Goes Down, Gosford Park and the upcoming Light In The Sky. He wed fellow movie star Reese Witherspoon in 1999; they have two children, Ava, 4, and Deacon, who was born on October 23, 2003.
