Todd walked through a dark, wooded area looking for Margaret. She found him first and pulled a gun on him. She patted him down, but didn’t locate Todd’s gun. She then pointed the gun at him and said, “Say good-bye, Todd,” but Todd whipped out his gun and had Margaret toss hers aside. Before Todd could shoot her, two campers walked up asking for matches. Todd turned around to shoo them away, and just after they left, Margaret clocked him with a big stick. Todd was bleeding and holding his head as he managed to get back to his feet. Margaret walked him by gunpoint to a lake. She decided they would go to the marina nearby and get a boat to take them to an island she spotted on the other side of the lake, so that they could be a family. Margaret was hesitant to get in a boat saying that she can’t swim. Todd got her excited again, though, and Margaret made Todd sing a song with her as they walked out onto the pier.
Cristian told a prison priest that he really is Cristian, and that the only other person who knows is the man involved with Natalie. The priest tried to talk Cris into telling Natalie, but he refused, saying it would hurt her too much. The priest said that because Cristian was brainwashed, he has a chance to be exonerated for Tico’s murder. Cristian admitted that he once thought he could just sit in prison forever, but that now he’s not so sure.
Natalie was annoyed when John reminded her at the police station that they agreed to keep their relationship out of office. Natalie told Rex about John’s wish to keep things private, and Rex asked if that is because John is ashamed of her. Later, John overheard two uniformed cops harassing Natalie about John by hurling really lame police-related double entendres at her. They asked John flat out what was going on between him and Natalie, and he said, “Nothing. End of discussion.” Natalie responded coldly, pointing out to John that they’re keeping things secret even though everyone at the station knew about him and Evangeline. “We promised not to let it interfere with work, but not to deny it,” she spit at him. John turned around, announced to the whole office, “Here’s what’s going on with me and Natalie,” and kissed her. Natalie beamed.
Dorian visited Blair to ask her if she found out more about whatever secret Todd is hiding. Blair said there’s no way he’d keep a secret. “Todd knows that if he lied to me about something this important, that could hurt our children, that I would never, ever forgive him,” Blair shouted. Spencer dropped in, claiming to be there checking up on Starr. Dorian urged Spencer to explain what really happened to Todd to cause the injury he claimed happened when he was changing a tire, but Spencer didn’t reveal the truth. Dorian left and Kelly came by to tell Blair about Margaret’s baby, but at the last second changed her mind and instead said that she thinks she might be able to have children again. Spencer said he thinks they should start on the medical procedure that can make that happen as soon as possible. Kelly left and Blair called the police station, where Todd said he was going, only to learn that they hadn’t seen him there. Spencer reiterated how he finds Blair very attractive, but said that because she’s in love with Todd that he hopes they can at least be good friends.
Rex dropped by La Boulaie to see Adriana and said he’d help her break the encryption on the Buchanan Enterprises files. Rex warned her that “it could take all night.” (Wink, wink.) Soon after, Rex did, in fact, crack the code, but Dorian came home and kicked him out before the two could do much celebrating. Dorian sat down at the computer and browsed through the file. It appeared to be a long, comprehensive list of articles about BE. Adriana asked Dorian where she got the file, but Dorian would not say. When Adriana threatened to tell Duke about the contents of the file, Dorian threatened to tell Duke about Adriana’s kiss with Rex and made Adriana promise to keep the file secret. Before Adriana could answer, Duke came over and asked what she and Dorian were up to.
Asa told Bo, Duke and Kevin that “somebody’s trying to take Buchanan Enterprises down, and I’m gonna find out who.” Asa tried to get all the Buchanan men to live with him, but one-by-one they all turned him down and left.
