Viki dropped in on Dorian, begging for her help. Dorian (who was busy returning wedding gifts) invited Viki in. Viki said Dorian was the only person who hates Niki Smith enough to do this. Maybe so, but “I quite prefer you on your own,” Dorian replied. Viki explained she needed Dorian’s help to resurrect Niki Smith. Dorian wondered if that would be possible. Viki thought with Dorian’s help Niki could come out. “You’ve dealt with my alters, you know what to expect,” Viki assured her. Dorian didn’t know what she could do. Viki explained that Niki knows something that could heal Jessica. Dorian said okay. May the fireworks begin next week!
With Nash watching from the bar (with a good old smirk on his face), Antonio kissed Jessica and promised to never let her go. It was awkward and Antonio was ready to kick him out but Jessica assured Antonio that Nash wasn’t even looking at her. Nash ordered another drink, which Layla suggested he, perhaps, reconsider. He said he was willing to risk everything to get Tess back. Nash then brought Jessica a soda and said his good-byes. Layla came by to grab Antonio; there was a crisis in the kitchen that only Antonio could help with. Jessica went out to get some air. “Tess?” Nash asked. “I’m not Tess, I’m Jessica,” she replied. Poor Nash. But he grabbed Jessica in for a big kiss, anyway.
Todd begged Blair to trust him ONE MORE TIME. (Oh, please.) Blair asked why he hadn’t come to her from the beginning. Todd tried to explain. Blair was sorry Todd had to go through all this stuff alone and told him for the millionth time she trusted him. Todd wondered if he could persuade a jury he hadn’t committed murder. Todd again swore he did not kill Margaret. Blair gave Todd a big good-bye kiss and left him to flash back to Margaret’s last moments.
Bo took charge of the situation and the FBI guy said they were almost ready to “smoke them out.” (Those were Bo’s words but they were good.) Bo told Hesser to pick up the phone so they could negotiate. Hesser said he was willing to negotiate in exchange for a million and a helicopter. Or he’ll kill someone Bo knows. Cristian was bleeding (a lot) on the stairwell, muttering, “I’ll see you again,” presumably to Natalie. John returned to Cristian’s side with some first aid supplies. Cristian wondered why he came back. John began to stitch Cristian up and offered him a hit of something strong so he could withstand the pain. (We’re thinking they were drinking whiskey or something.) Bo, now worried about John, told the FBI guy they weren’t ready to storm the prison. Bo felt that Hesser could make things messy. “He’ll take as many men with him as he can.” Bo thought they should give Hesser the money in a briefcase with a monitor. Bo said, “we need to make Carlo think he’s still in control and then he won’t kill another hostage.” Carlo assured Bo that John was safe. John, the temporary medic, was busy sewing up Cristian and said if Crisitan had something to say to Natalie he better say it himself. Bo told Carlo that the money and helicopter were on their way, 15 min. ETA. Another shot rang out; everyone outside screamed. It was Carlo shooting at Hayes, but deliberately missing. Back in the stairwell, John admired his handiwork (the stitches, etc.), but he panicked when he saw that Cris had passed out.
Natalie was trying to digest the news that John knew all along that Cristian was alive and well in prison. “All this time we were together he knew I was still married,” she said through her tears. Evangeline was at a loss for words. Then Natalie got angry and said, “Congratulations. You’ve got your revenge,” and accused Evangeline of doing all this to get John back. Evangeline explained that Cristian asked John not to tell her. Natalie got a call from John on her cell phone but it was Hayes being a pill. Natalie blamed this mess on herself — John was in there to save Cristian for Natalie. Evangeline asked Natalie if she still loves Cristian or “Have those feelings been replaced for what you feel for John?”
