Evangeline admitted that she had more than “just friends” feelings toward Cris.
Cris suggested he move in with Evangeline, but she saw it as him being a nurse to her. Cris had contacted a foundation for the visually impaired, and someone was coming over to help Evangeline learn how to live blind. Cris thought Evangeline had suppressed her feelings about her blindness. Evangeline admitted she didn’t do “hurt” well. Cris thought maybe that’s because she never had anyone catch her when she fell. Evangeline admitted she counted on her sight for a lot of things. She almost began to cry. Cris put her hands on his face. “I’m right here. Look at me,” he said and the two kissed. They cuddled on the couch and then began slow dancing.
Marcie was upset to hear that little Thomas was still in need of a foster home. Janice wondered if Marcie and Michael had ever considered becoming foster parents. Marcie was quite thrilled at the thought of that. Later Michael and Marcie gushed over little Thomas. Michael asked Janice what it would take for them to look after Tommy for a while.
Natalie and John unwound at his place over some beers. John changed the dressing on Natalie’s leg and one thing lead to another and they ended up making love. Natalie dozed while John wondered, “is anyone really happy. Maybe I found what I’m looking for.”
Starr thanked Spencer for saving her father’s life, but reminded him that in no uncertain terms they (Todd, Blair, Starr and Jack) would soon be a family again. Blair stayed by Todd’s side begging him to wake up so she could apologize. Starr’s eyes lit up when Ricky paid her a visit. Starr told Ricky how hard it was to say goodbye to her dad. The two hugged. Starr then stole two sodas out of the vending machine and left.
The guard reminded David that a cop killer is the least liked person in prison. David asked Dorian to help him break out of jail. “What,” she said. “I’ll give you a million dollars if you help me escape,” he promised.
Spencer reminded Dorian that he doesn’t leave loose ends. Dorian was called away. Blair commented that Dorian hated him (Spencer). Blair wondered what Todd would be like when he woke up? What would he remember from being dead. Spencer didn’t know. Blair asked Spencer “Do you want Todd dead?” Spencer reminded her that he didn’t have to save Todd. “Shouldn’t that tell you something?” Blair pulled away and kept looking at Spencer with suspicious eyes. ” he (Todd) forgives you this time, where does that leave us,” Spencer wondered. Blair reminded Spencer that she owes him big time. Starr and Blair headed home. Spencer stood over a sleeping Todd. “I’m keeping you alive for Blair you son of a bitch and because she said she’d do anything for me,” Spencer laughed devilishly. Todd opened his eyes.
Nash panicked when he read the threatening note from Reston, saying he had till morning to disappear. Reston said that if Nash left then that would settle their debt. Tess was confident that she and Nash would be Brennan’s parents and then they’d be set free. Nash insisted to Reston that he “can’t just leave.” Nash credited Tess with changing him. “You are stronger now. You can do this on your own.” “You are scaring me Nash,” Tess replied. Nash begged Tess to remember that he loves them. Nash got a call. The lab would have the results of the paternity tests in the morning.
