Giovanni thought Adriana should lose the boyfriend for a modeling career. Rex offered to back out of the relationship if it is standing in her way of a successful career. Adriana told Giovanni she was going to give this modeling thing her all, but she wasn’t going to give up Rex. Giovanni said he was going to change her look from sweet to spitfire. Adriana had a photo shoot/music video. Rex and Adriana kissed and he told her that he had cancelled his room for the night.

Viki gave Tess the note Nash had left with Clint. She read it (and we heard Nash speaking). He explained that he left because he loves her. “Believe in my love as I believe in yours,” were his words. Tess hid her upset from Viki, who she was so rude to, she (Viki) left the room. Clint and Viki talked about the situation. Viki was hoping that Tess would need Jessica. Viki worried that Jessica was so buried, she’d never come back. Clint grabbed their coats and announced that they were heading to the Hot Spot, to scene of the crime, so to speak. Tess and Natalie had a unsisterly face-off. Natalie was rather enraged that Tess was even thinking about having a drink.

Now back at the winery, Nash was greeted by Mr. Reston. Reston noted that Nash was alone. Nash asked why Reston was there. “It’s just you and me,” Reston said, and then asked Nash for restitution. “I wanted justice for my daughter.” And the order of protection (Nash needs to steer clear of Claudia) wasn’t enough for Reston. He wanted Nash to pay in kind for ruining something “very precious to me.”

Evangeline brought Todd to this abandoned warehouse. Todd grabbed her phone and placed a call to Starr. Evangeline grabbed the phone from Todd, made some small talk and hung up the phone. Todd said he wanted to kill Spencer. Evangeline reminded him that he’s a human target. Evangeline said they needed to find out where Spencer and Paige were the night of the murder. Evangeline said she was going to find out what the police are up to in their hunt for Todd. Todd sat quietly in the warehouse as a pair of legs (maybe a man) entered the room.

Layla spoke to John as if John had reconciled with Evangeline. John asked why Layla would think that. Layla realized she might have slipped up. “She asked you to stay away from the apartment? ” John asked, and his mind began working…Who could Evangeline be hiding? Who indeed. Evangeline found Layla at Roxy’s. Layla mentioned that Evangeline may in trouble with John. Layla mentioned that John had seen a homeless man in a security guard jacket. Evangeline realized that John and Bo were slowly figuring it all out. Evangeline arrived at the police station and tried to snoop around by asking John if he’d gotten any info on Todd. He wondered why she was asking because, “You already know where Todd is.” Evangeline looked stunned.

Clint visited Bo at the police station. Natalie was doing work. Bo was convinced it was only a matter of time before Todd surfaces in Llanview. Bo shared that Todd had been at his place. Clint left. He had an idea how he could help his family. Clint and Natalie headed to visit Viki. Bo returned to his office and saw Starr at his desk. “You are always welcome, ” he said. Starr began asking what’s going on. “I need to know the truth,” she said. Bo told Starr that he’s pretty sure Todd would be caught and taken back into custody. Starr said she’s afraid that her dad will be killed and won’t be able to prove his innocence. John showed Bo the jacket that a homeless man had found. It was the jacket they think Todd was wearing. Bo asked John if he had left any clothes at Evangeline’s, as that’s the excuse Evangeline had told him. John said no. Both men shook their heads. That Evangeline. She’s been LYING. John and Bo realized that Todd was the man staying at Evangeline’s apartment. Though they added this was very unEvangeline-like behavior. John brought the jacket into evidence, Starr returned to Bo’s office and he offered to take her home.
