Todd called David and set up a meeting so they could work together to get Spencer. Dorian stood by while David talked to Todd, and after he hung up she accused him of arranging for a woman to call him in her presence in a lame attempt to make her jealous. David said she was being self-centered, selfish and elitist, then added that he doesn’t want her to be his lover, just his friend.

Paige and Bo told Matthew to be patient with his mother’s recovery. Matthew asked if his mother would ever be the same again, and Paige told him it’s too soon to say. Bo smiled as he watched Paige talk to Matthew. After they sent him to bed, Bo told Paige she was wonderful with the boy. “That’s parent talent,” he said. “I don’t think you should waste that talent. You’ve got a son out there.” Paige said being motherly to a grown man is different than with Matthew. Bo told Paige something else is definitely bothering her and asked her to please tell him what it is. Paige got flustered and said she had to be alone. She apologized to Bo and left. She ran into David, who told Paige that they have to work with Todd to get Spencer. Paige said she can’t help Todd any more. David said perhaps he could work alone with Todd to bring down Spencer. Paige thanked David for trying to help and went back to Bo. She told him she won’t ever walk out of their shared home again and kissed him.

David went to the place where Todd said they should meet and called out his name. Todd came out of the darkness and punched David, knocking him down.

Rex and Adriana went to the empty house where Todd was hiding for an illicit romantic evening. After Adriana walked off to explore, Todd crept up behind Rex and revealed himself. He told Rex he knows who set him up, but then Adriana came back and Todd hid again. Adriana asked Rex who he was talking to. Rex lied that he was on the phone but said it was a wrong number. He then whisked Adriana away. Adriana told Rex he was being very quiet. He apologized and then took her to a newsstand to buy the issue of Belle magazine in which Adriana appeared. The guy said someone had come by and purchased all 50 copies he had. Flash to someone sitting in a room filled with the magazines while ominous stalker music played in the background.

John and Rocco stopped tussling, but while they were tangled up, crafty John lifted his wallet. Rocco left without realizing he’d been pick pocketed. Meanwhile, Cristian got up after his second knockdown, slugged his opponent a few times and knocked him out. In the locker room, Cristian’s little friend Ricky came in to congratulate him on his win. Cris’s trainer, Rourke, told Cristian he was stupid to take his eyes off the fight. He then told Cris he hurt his hand. Cristian saw Natalie and asked her why she was talking to Rocco. John told Natalie that Cristian knew Rocco from playing pool with him a while ago. Rourke walked over and told Cristian he needs to go to the hospital to x-ray his hand, but Cris said he was fine. Rourke then chastised Natalie for distracting Cristian while he was fighting. After he left, Cristian told Natalie not to listen to Rourke. He proved that his hand was okay by caressing Natalie’s face and hair. Cristian left to get changed and Rocco came back for his wallet. He was angry at Natalie for being friends with a cop. She told Rocco that John is just her parole officer. He seemed to buy it and then gave Nat the name of the Atlantic City contact that she asked for.

John did a background check on Rocco at the police station.

Starr ran into some snooty punks at Angel Square who said they were “slumming” in the neighborhood. They made a reference to her father being a “dead man walking.” When one of the boys said that Starr’s mom is “the biggest whore in Llanview,” Starr punched him. The kids swiped Starr’s purse and wouldn’t give it back. Ricky showed up and intervened on Starr’s behalf.

Bo told Dorian that she was being too hard on Rex and that he is a good guy. Dorian said her daughter is infatuated with a boy who shoots heroin. Bo said he doesn’t believe Rex is really into drugs. He said that he heard Rex was forcibly injected and then dumped in an alley and that it makes more sense than the story that Rex suddenly turned into a junkie overnight. He assured Dorian he’d find the person responsible for injecting Rex and make them pay.
