Jessica’s doctor tried to get Tess to tell him what trauma Jessica suffered to create an alter, but Tess was wise to his plan. “You want to wipe me off the face of the Earth,” she told him. “It ain’t gonna happen.” After a sexy, yet unsuccessful attempt to seduce the doctor, Tess tried to walk out of his office, but he reminded her that she can’t because she was really Jessica in a hypnotic trance (now stay with us here) and that clapping his hands would bring Jessica back. When he clapped, Tess stopped in her tracks, and Jessica seemingly came back, but when the doctor told her to go home and rest, she turned and smirked, showing that it was Tess pretending to be Jessica. “Sucker,” she sneered as she walked out his door.
Michael comforted Evangeline over her breakup with John. Evangeline told him how the relationship wasn’t going anywhere so she ended it. He told her she’s the best thing that ever happened to his brother.
Natalie tried to find out from John why Evangeline ran out of the police station, but he stayed closed off. She said she is worried about him, but he yelled at her to bug off. Her lip quivered and she left. John stayed behind and had a montage of Evangeline memories, mostly of them in the sack, but a few other nice moments, too. It was like a full-on break-up scene. Then Michael burst into John’s office and asked why the hell he screwed it up with Evangeline. John explained how he just couldn’t bring himself to say, “I love you.” Michael said, “For the record, John, when the woman who you’ve been sleeping with for the past year asks you if you love her, the answer is always yes!” John said that would’ve been the easy way out. Then the conversation switched to John telling Natalie he loved her. John said it was taken out of context, but Michael reminded him how he seems more concerned with Nat than Vangie, who is now devastated by what’s happened.
Meanwhile, Natalie went to tell Roxy how John and Evangeline broke up, promoting Roxy to immediately suggest that she sleep with him. Then when John showed up moments later, he asked Natalie to talk… in private… up in his room (insert funky porn music).
Viki told Kevin he’s falling back in love with Kelly. Kevin went over all the horrible things she did, like passing off a stolen kid for his own, and said there’s no way.
Todd and Blair had dinner together at the Palace and reveled in the fun they were having. They ran into Viki, and Todd mentioned that Jessica hasn’t been acting quite right of late. Viki seemed surprised to hear it. Blair expressed concern over Viki’s health. Later, Todd called Ginger to ask if she could watch his kids for the night so he could stay out with his wife a while longer, but she told him she can’t because she’s going out with Tess to Xanadu. Todd went back to Blair and made like he had an emergency at the newspaper and had to end their date early, then headed to the club where he confronted Tess and asked her who she really is.
David ran into Blair at the Palace and told her to stay away from Spencer because he’ll ruin her life. She asked how he knows that, but he evaded the question.
Next to show up at the Palace was Kelly, who walked in with with Spencer. David saw them and accused them of being on a date, but Kelly explained that it was a business meeting because Buchanan Enterprises is sponsoring some of Spencer’s work.
Margaret sat in a rocking chair in a baby room, rubbing her pregnant belly and looking through a photo album of Todd. She babbled insanely to the child about how handsome it will be.
