At Capricorn, Dorian was so excited to meet with her wedding planner, she greeted her with a welcome that combined several languages. David started to joke about the proceedings, but Kelly urged him to “sit back and shut up,” and let Dorian go ahead with planning a big, splashy affair. His mood got even worse when Spencer showed up. The wedding planner tried to get the crew back to planning weddings. Meanwhile, Spencer and Kelly headed over to the bar to discuss Kelly’s involvement in the hospital fundraisers. Kelly told Spence about her history with Ace; Spencer then mentioned that she look into trying some new advances in conception. Kelly was surprised that he knew about her fertility problems; Dr. Truman didn’t say he’d snooped through her files, lying that Kevin had told him about them…. Dorian again tried to get David to discuss why he’s so hostile to his brother, pointing out that the more he tells her to stay away from Spencer, the more curious she is to learn about him. She then admitted that she’d done some research on Spence and couldn’t find anything shady. “He’s absolutely perfect for Kelly,” she said. David was furious that Dorian had gone against his wishes and done this.
Duke and Adriana returned to Llanview, where they hugged and cooed at each other. Duke filled in Adriana on the kidnapping of Natalie. Duke then enjoyed a reunion with Kevin, while Adriana surprised Dorian. Soon, Kevin and Duke joined them at Capricorn. Dorian went to introduce Adriana to Spencer, which left Kelly alone with Kevin. Kelly lashed out at Kev for allegedly blabbing about her fertility issues. “This is so over,” she spat. She then agreed to go on a date with Dr. Truman — while Kevin was still standing there.
Evangeline returned to the spot where she’d almost been burned at the stake and found John poking through the rubble. Evangeline mused that deep down John wished that if one of the ladies had to be taken by the killer, he would’ve preferred if it had been Vangie. John tried to explain that it’s not the choice that’s tearing him up, but that he put Evangeline in danger in the first place. The exes then shared a kiss. “That doesn’t solve anything – it is not enough!” a stunned Vangie told him. “That’s why we broke up and we’re going to stay that way.” Evangeline then got back to business discussing her and Nat’s abduction, noting that at one point she thought more than one person had taken them.
At the station, Roxy reamed out Bo for not being more diligent about finding Natalie, insisting that Bo didn’t care about how she felt because he didn’t really regard her as being Nat’s mother. “I’m just as much her mother as Viki is!” she sobbed, as a concern Viki looked on. Roxy didn’t understand why Vangie had been rescued; Bo explained how John had gotten to Natalie first because she was in worse shape, and when he went to get Vangie, Nat was taken by the killer. “She was just getting everything together,” Roxy lamented. Viki comforted Roxy and promised she’d be there if Roxy needed anything. After, Rex thanked Viki for calming down his mom. Bo promised to call them if he hears anything. Later, Viki left the station and found Evangeline, still hurting from her encounter with John, crying. Vik held Vangie in her arms…. John informed Bo that the killer had an accomplice…. In a basement, the killer began reading aloud from a journal, then announced, “In high school, there wasn’t a single clique that would accept me … not even the Killing Club.”
In N.Y.C., Tess stole a car from a new “friend,” Nash. He managed to stop her and reclaim his vehicle. Never one to cry defeat, Tess hitched a ride with another stranger and ended up at a fancy party in the Hamptons (in a stunning home right on the beach). Who should happen to be there but Nash? “I love parties,” she told him, “and I’m always up for a good time.” Tess was intrigued that the bash had an oxygen bar … and that Nash still wasn’t falling for her act. She made her way out to the huge pool (where guests were playing with cool beach balls) and introduced herself to the party-giver Bruce. Bruce was stunned that a guy had actually turned Tess down. “You are officially the guest of honor,” he stated. Nash demanded that she leave, but she refused, noting that Bruce wants her to stay. While Nash went to check out the oxygen bar, Tess picked up a wallet.
