Daryl reported to a frazzled Dorian that Adriana and Rex were at the Cranberry inn. Darryl suggested that Dorian focus on her love life, instead of Adriana’s.
Nash agreed that he would never be able to pay Claudia back for what she did for him. (Sell out her father.) Claudia accused him of using her. Claudia said he’d have to sleep with her to get what he wanted. Nash reminded her that he loves Tess and that having sex wouldn’t change his feelings. Claudia doubted that. Claudia begged Nash to let her help him forget about Tess. Claudia kissed Nash but that didn’t last long. Reston interrupted that moment by pointing a gun at Nash. Claudia begged her father to put down the gun. Reston pointed out that Nash was a greedy person. “You are just a pawn in his game,” barked dad. Claudia admitted to her father that she was working with Nash to steal away the vineyard. Reston and Nash started fighting while Claudia began screaming (and she was holding the gun as well). Claudia smashed a bottle over her dad’s head. Nash rolled him over Reston had fallen on a broken bottle of wine. He was dead.
David was seen lurking outside Craze and overheard Darryl and Dorian’s conversation. David interrupted. “I came to say good-bye for good this time.” Dorian accused him of running away. David listed all the things he learned from Dorian, but didn’t think he’d ever get a second chance. Dorian thanked him for coming over to say good-bye she stuck out his hand, he went in for a kiss. They broke away. David reminded Dorian that she deserves to be worshipped. “You are more of a man than you thought you were,” Dorian said as he left. Darryl returned to check up on his “boss.” Dorian exclaimed “no one is going to hurt me the way David did.” Clint showed up with flowers and told Dorian he thinks they should give “it a whirl.” “It” being a relationship.
John sat quietly in the courtroom. Michael, Marcie, Natalie and little Tommy joined him and then all waited for David to show up.
Hugh showed up. Marcie blew off the call from the family social worker; Tommy would have to wait on meeting his new parents for one more day. The judge pointed out that he didn’t see the defendant. Hugh asked for a recess. The judge said no and gave Vickers two minutes to show up. The judge told Hugh that if he didn’t get more evidence, Vickers would walk. Phew. David strolled in. David sat in the witness chair and changed his plea to guilty. “I shot Thomas McBain.”
Adriana and Rex never got out of bed. But Adriana couldn’t help but wonder if they were still safe. However, they soon got back to the business at hand: making love. Adriana needed some food before they could go into round three. Rex ordered room service. When he lifted the lid off the dish, a butterfly flew out. Adriana screamed. This meant the stalker was there.
Jessica told Dr. Jamison that she was having Tess’ memories of making love to Nash. Jamison wondered if Jessica was having Tess’ feelings as well. Jessica thought the only way to full integrate was to remember the abuse and she demanded that he hypnotize her.Jamison wondered if Jessica had feelings for Nash? Jessica said it was like an out of body experience becoming real. Jessica again begged to be hypnotized before Tess and Nash could make any memories together. Jamison began hypnotizing Jessica. Jessica remembered the dark smelling house that Normal Leeds lived in and remembered the movie camera. Jessica began to scream and Jamison brought her back to the loft. But it was Tess who came back.
Viki and Clint looked at pictures of little Joey, Jessica and Kevin. Clint reassured her that they did they best as parents, though Viki wept over Kevin’s troubles and Jessica’s situation. “There is absolutely nothing I can do for them,” Viki exclaimed. Clint stated they needed to lean on each other. “I can’t do this without you viki,” and the two hugged ad then kissed, and it wasn’t just a peck. Then, as adults do, they had to talk about the kiss and their growing closeness. They then agreed that the kiss was ill-advised and Viki brought up Dorian’s name. Viki encouraged Clint to be with Dorian. “It’s your life,” she exclaimed.
