Nash found Tess on napping on a street bench and kept asking her questions about who this Jessica was she was murmuring about. Tess was able to deflect all his questions, even giving an excuse for the bracelet that read “to Jessica from Antonio.” Nash took a (brief) hike while a ravenous Tess almost started picking into a dumpster for food (Tess, now stop that). Nash showed up with some breakfast, the two bantered a bit, and then Nash took off. He was apparently tired of Tess’ smart mouth. But he reappeared, yet again, and told Tess she’d need money for a cab. She ran off and then Nash found the aforementioned bracelet on the ground.
Best gal pals Evangeline and Nora bonded over some tasty looking frappes but the conversation soon turned bittersweet as they rehashed the fact that John had saved Natalie first (enough with that already!). Nora suggested to Evangeline that she stop being there for John. Evangeline looked sad and asked, “You know about a switch that could just turn off your feelings?”
Antonio walked in on John at the shooting range. Antonio offered his help in finding Natalie and John graciously accepted. Antonio then headed to Capricorn and met the new waitress, Layla. She was a little surprised to learn he was the boss, but continued to flirt shamelessly. Antonio placed a call to Jackie to enlist his “outside the law” help in locating Natalie Vega. John dragged Hayes back into the police station; apparently he was loitering and then John found a gun on him. Of course, it was found out that the gun was legally owned, so Hayes got out, again. John was exasperated. Nora and Evangeline then popped in (bet John hates ‘the pop in’). Nora was very surprised to see Matthew there. Apparently Bo hadn’t told her he was coming back from camp a bit earlier because of “this really cool storm” (quoting Matthew). Bo then sent Matthew to the vending machine to allow Nora to yell at him, if she wanted to, but she really didn’t. Evangeline headed home and found a little note under her door. “Meet me behind Capricorn and come alone, or else.” Bo asked John to step aside voluntarily from the case, because of his personal feelings.
