Dorian told Adriana it was admirable that she didn’t run back to Duke just because she found Rex with another woman. They bonded over both being brave enough to choose being alone rather than being with men they didn’t want to be with. Later, Viki came by La Boulaie to thank Dorian for helping Clint with Niki. Dorian said she didn’t do much other than watch Clint plant a big kiss on her, bringing Viki back out. Viki seemed surprised that Dorian was making a big deal out of Clint kissing her. “So the kiss had no effect on you at all?” Dorian asked. Viki said none at all. Dorian said in that case, maybe she would pursue Clint herself. Viki said she didn’t want Dorian dating him. Dorian said she doesn’t need Viki’s permission and reveled in Viki’s jealousy.
Rex told Roxy and Natalie how Adriana caught him with Nina. He said how he heard Adriana telling Dorian what a loser he was. Natalie asked why he didn’t confront Adriana about it and Rex said it was because she was better off without him. Natalie flipped and asked why all men think it’s better to keep women in the dark than to share everything.
Clint filled Bo in on how Viki brought Niki back out in an attempt to help Jessica. When he said how he kissed Niki to bring back Viki on New Year’s, Bo asked his brother how that made him feel. Clint insisted he wasn’t looking to get involved with another woman so quickly after his breakup with Dallas. He said he was only concerned with helping Jessica.
Viki dropped by the police station and ran into Clint. She thanked him for bringing her back on New Year’s with the kiss, but made sure he didn’t think he had any power over her that way. As they were talking, someone served Viki with a subpoena, presumably for Todd’s trial.
Nash tried to get Tess to reveal Jessica created her. Tess said she was afraid that if she told him that Jessica would find out and no longer need her, which would mean no more Tess. Antonio interrupted by knocking at their door. After Nash let him in, Antonio asked Nash, in front of Tess, who took out a restraining order against him.
Cristian dropped by the gym and offered to spar with John. The fat, gruff, boxing gym stereotype tried to ensure that things wouldn’t get out of hand. They discussed Natalie as they fought. The tough guy stereotype left after a while, but he had to come back and break John and Cristian up when their friendly sparring turned ugly.
Evangeline had lunch with Layla at the diner. Layla told her sister she needs a new man. She went through the laundry list of single guys in Llanview (Hugh, Dr. Jamison, etc.), but Evangeline turned it around and asked Layla why she herself was not with a man. Vangie insinuated that Layla was foolishly hung up on Antonio, a man who is in love with another woman already. After Evangeline left, Adriana walked in. She and Layla decided to put the past behind them and have a friendly girl talk over some food.
