Michael booted John out of Natalie’s room so he could examine her now that she’d woken up. Natalie whimpered for John to stay with her while Evangeline looked on. After his examination, Michael reported to Natalie’s family that it seemed like the only thing wrong with her was a sprained ankle. The relieved family was allowed to go in one at a time to visit with Nat. Michael told Natalie that it wasn’t just John who saved her, but also Evangeline, for being able to lead the police to her. Nat asked for Vangie to come in and talk with her. They talked about how they were a big help to one another while locked up in the basement together. Natalie thanked Evangeline for saving her life and asked if there is anything she can do for her. Vangie said what she’d like is that they have a cease-fire between them. “John is not a part of my life any more,” Evangeline assured Natalie. Later, John returned to Natalie’s bedside. She told him she thought she was dead, but that she’d think about John and it kept her going. Meanwhile, someone in an orange “Statesville Prison” jumpsuit was seen reading a newspaper about how John saved Nat. He threw the paper to the ground in anger. Photos of Natalie in her wedding dress were hanging on the prison cell wall.

An emotional Rex told Roxy he loved her. She told him it may be the first time he’s ever said that and then replied, “Back at ya, baby.”

Nash told Antonio he’s looking for Todd because he’s after his girlfriend. Antonio marveled over the coincidence because he too would like Todd to stay away from someone he cares about. He asked Nash what her name was but then received a call from Jessica before he got an answer. Jessica told Antonio that she wanted him to meet her at Llanfair so that he would be there with her when she tells Viki about her DID. Tonio left, but Nash stayed and snooped around Todd’s office a bit and found a photo of a smiley, happy Jessica with Todd. He wrote a note for Todd and left.

Tess talked to Jessica at the hospital. Jess went outside and collapsed as her alter taunted her. Nash walked by and saw Jess on the ground.

Kelly told Spencer they shouldn’t see each other any more. After Spencer left, Kevin came by and asked Kelly why she wasn’t upstairs having champagne in Spencer’s room. “You can be such an idiot sometimes,” she answered. “Kevin, I broke up with Spencer because I’m still in love with you.”

David tried to talk Paige into taking the chief of staff position Spencer offered her. Paige said her life was going just fine before Spencer came and dangled this position before her. David and she both tried to figure out what Spencer’s scheme was, but neither had a clue. Later, Spencer came over and mentioned the chief of staff position. Paige said she wouldn’t accept it and almost threw her drink in his face before Spencer warned her that she does not want to make him angry. She heeded his warning and stormed off.

Paige dropped by Bo’s house. Matthew saw her and told her he’s happy that she’s around, because unlike Daniel, she doesn’t keep secrets. When Matthew went to bed, Bo told Paige, “You just got the thumbs-up from my biggest critic.”
