Marcie was devastated when she found an article in The Banner stating that her book was what the Killing Club Killer was using for inspiration. Still, she was reluctant when Michael invited her to move in with him for her own safety. Later, she told off Todd, stating that if someone else gets murdered it’ll be on Todd’s head….
At Evangeline’s great-aunt’s funeral, John met Vangie’s family — and learned that Vangie’s family calls her “Cookie.” John was taken aback when Vangie’s cousins revealed that she had dreams of running for office, and when her Uncle Clay grilled him on why he’d left the FBI. Things became tense when Clay wondered how John and Vangie ended up together. After, Vangie scolded her uncle for making her beau uncomfortable, but admitted that she didn’t think she’d end up with someone like John, either….
Rex agreed with Natalie that it would now be tougher for her to get John away from Evangeline….
Todd confided in Kelly about Blair being freaked over Margaret possibly returning. Kelly advised him to forget about her, but Todd couldn’t. “I’ll deal with her in my own way,” he explained. “Have you ever been tortured by a psychopathic murderer?” he questioned, to which Kelly reminded him that she’d been victimized by Paul. Kelly urged him not to let Peg control his life the way Paul did with her… Speaking of the deceased Cramer bro, a troubled Daniel had a flashback to when he’d shot and killed Paul….
RJ gave Lindsay a gorgeous bouquet of flowers to thank her for sticking by him in the custody case. “I see how your eyes shine when you’re with Jamie,” Lindsay noted. “This is a second chance for you and Jamie, just as I’m getting a second chance with Jen.”… Or maybe not. Lindsay and RJ did their best to convince Jen — whom Daniel has been framing for Paul’s murder — not to leave town, despite Rex’s insistence. “If you do this, there’s a chance I might not see you again,” pleaded Lindsay. After, Lindsay warned Daniel to stay away from Jen. “I’ll ruin you,” she threatened….
Jen assured Riley that she’d be proven innocent, then admonished him for not believeing in her. “What we had is gone,” she sniffed. “You blew it when you stopped believing in me.”… Rex promised Jen that he’d take care of her….
Daniel and Nora continued to argue over Jen’s guilt; Nora accused him of being obsessed with pinning the blame on Jen.

Ginger annoyed Todd by pestering him with questions about his well-being. “I’m fine, we’re all FINE!” he snapped….
Todd was thrilled to see Mrs. Bigelow at his doorstep, and was floored when the woman explained that she was not Mrs. Biggs, but Mrs. Smalls. Mrs. Smalls gave Todd some gifts for his family and advised him to not keep secrets. Starr was also intrguiged by the elderly woman’s words of wisdom and vowed to stop being so bratty to her parents… While enjoying a yummy-looking sandwich and fries (which she had with mustard!), Natalie lamented about her situation with John to Michael. Mike urged her not to try to break up John and Evangeline. “You’re like kryptonite to John,” he stated, to her annoyance….
John volunteered to go with Evangeline to her family’s home when she learned that her great aunt had died. John was puzzled by Vangie’s reluctance, and assured her that he wants them to be together….
Later, Nat almost poured her heart out to John, but held back when she learned that John was going away with Evangeline. Nat even helped him pack, explaining not-so-subtly, “Everyone needs help with their baggage.”… Meanwhile, Michael warned Vangie about Nat, but Vangie assured him that she and John are solid (Vangie didn’t approve of the mustard fries, by the way)….
Kelly, looking mighty fetching in a satin pink dress and curls, demanded that Dorian get David out of her house because of the mess he’s making. “I put up with his idiosyncrisies for so long!” Dorian told her. “Putting syrup on your Cornflakes is an idiosyncrisy,” replied Kelly. “David is just a slob!” Dorian was then incensed when she learned that the reason why Kelly was so dressed up was because she was going to a charity event — with Duke. Later, when Duke arrived, Dorian ragged on him for “seducing” Adriana. Duke and Kelly told Dor to MYOB, but Duke ended up bailing on Kelly when things got out of hand….
Ginger arrived at the diner and introduced herself to Adriana….
Antonio chatted with Viki about the impending custody battle for Jamie. Vik agreed to help him….
Tess enjoyed a limo ride, sticking her head out of the window and howling like a dog. “Goodbye, Jessica, long live Tess!” she cried. “The princess is dead, long live the queen!” Tess called Ginger to let her know she was leaving town. Tess urged her new friend not to tell Antonio that she spoke about him….
Carlotta believed that Jessica would help Antonio get Jamie and his life back, but Tess planned to ruin him. Her first task? Writing a letter to RJ.

Michael told an extremely smarmy Hayes to stay away from Marcie. Hayes goaded him relentlessly, saying, “Anyone involved with Marcie Walsh seems to wind up dead anyway.” He then suggested that maybe it is Marcie who’s doing the killing. Michael clearly had to fight with every fiber in his body to not give the guy another fat lip, but he did keep his composure. “We all know you have a temper,” Hayes taunted. “Don’t forget it,” Michael warned back. Hayes then called Viki and asked that she print a story tying the murders to the Killing Club. Viki suggested he’s only doing so to promote the book; Hayes claimed it’s out of concern for Marcie. Viki refuseed, but then Hayes got the Sun to agree to do the story….
Marcie visited Jen and admited that she’s a wreck because she thinks her book got her friends killed and everyone she cares about in danger. Riley dropped in and told Jen he misses her. He apologized for his mistakes and said he loves her. Jen said she is angry that he still seems to think she killed Paul Cramer. Daniel called Riley from the plane and apologized “for so many things.” Riley detected something wrong with his father but told him he loves him. After Riley hung up with Daniel, up Jen said he can’t love both her and his father right now….
In the plane on their way home from their honeymoon in Paris, Nora was all lovey and clueless with her husband. She stepped away for a moment and Daniel saw Paul Cramer sitting next to him on the plane. Daniel told the ghost that he didn’t mean to kill him, but that “it just happened.” Paul’s ghost said it’s just a matter of time before Nora finds out. Daniel vehemently objected, and Nora came back to her seat to catch him in the middle of a tirade to an empty chair. Daniel told her he was talking to Paul. He said he’s under too much pressure because he hasn’t closed the murder case yet. Nora told him that he can tell her anything. Paul’s ghost dared Daniel to tell Nora that he is the murderer — and to tell her why. While Nora was napping on Daniel’s shoulder, the ghost suggested that he only married Nora to further his plan to become Lt. Governor. Daniel disagreed and said he really loves Nora. But Paul’s ghost shot back, “You only love yoruself and that killer ambition of yours, which is about to bite ya in the ass.” Given that this ghost was all in his head, this was a fight Daniel is obviously having with between himself and whatever conscience he still has a grasp of….
Nat sauntered up to John and sat on his desk while wearing a tight shirt that he absolutely could not keep his eyes off of. She talked him into taking a break from his work to refresh his mind, and John replied that he’ll take a walk and call Evangeline, clearly not the result Nat’s flirty shirt was supposed to elicit….
Rex visited Viki at her office at the Banner asking her if she can publish a description of the killer in the newspaper. Viki said the description is too vague. Rex asked what she has against him, and she says she just doesn’t trust him. They agreed to get along based on a mutual concern over Natalie. The topic switched to how Nat is after John, and of course, Natalie walked in on the conversation and told Rex to shut up. After Nat shooed Rex out, Viki asked her daughter point-blank if she’s really trying to take John away from Evangeline. She said she is and that standing by and watching Vangie go with John was the worst mistake she’s ever made. Despite Viki’s warning her against it, Nat said that if there’s an opportunity for her to get John, that she’s gonna take it….
Natalie went to Michael and said he heard him telling John that he still has feelings for her. Michael said all he noticed was that his brother was jealous over her date with Ron and pleaded with Nat to leave him alone right now. “After Caitlin died I wasn’t sure he was gonna make it,” Michael said. “It tore him up inside.” He told her Vangie is good for him, and that she is not….
Meanwhile, John went to Vangie’s office and quickly put the moves on her with lines like, “I just need to see you. I need to feel you.” Then the clothes started flying. During the afterglow, after realizing they broke a chair during animalistic sex, Evangeline’s mother called to say that her great aunt died. She cried in John’s arms. He insistd that he come with her to visit the family. She said she knows he has a lot of work to do, but he replied, “You come first.”

Adriana and Kelly hoped that Dorian and David made amends — and didn’t kill each other in the process. Kelly was surprised, then, when she returned home and found a drunken David lounging on her couch in the carriage house. “I couldn’t be happier,” Dave slurred. “I have my freedom back.” “Then why is that wine bottle your new best friend?” Kelly retorted. “Never issue a man an either/or statement, because he’ll take the low road just to spite you,” David advised Adriana. “Don’t ever be a spineless wimp and give into your mother’s unreasonable demands no matter how much you want her back,” he went on, when Adriana urged him to make up with her mom. Kelly advised him to make the first move in terms of a reconciliation, but David refused. “Say hello to your new roommate,” he told her. However, when David complained that Dorian isn’t fun anymore, Kelly pointed out that maybe David isn’t trying hard enough….
Meanwhile, Dorian demanded that Viki throw him out of the carriage house, but she refused. Viki didn’t believe Dorian’s claim that she wanted David to suffer; Dorian told Viki to watch out that David doesn’t steal anything. “He’s stolen your heart,” Viki pointed out, advising Dor to “get over [herself].” “I’ve always known you love to play God,” Dorian spat when Viki quoted a Bible verse about love. “I don’t know whether to thank you or slam the door in your face,” Dorian said after. “Well, this is my house,” Viki noted….
Later, David and Dorian privately practiced apologizing to one another….
Jessica and Antonio basked in the afterglow of their lovemaking. When Jess reported that she didn’t seem to be experiencing any more blackouts or sleepwalking, Antonio assured her that he’d be there to make sure she didn’t go anywhere. Jess got all mushy and told Antonio that she wants to prove how much she loves him, “Over and over and over again,” but Tess then emerged. “I’ve gotta find a way to get rid of this guy for good,” Tess said of Antonio….
Matthew and Duke had a man-to-man talk. Duke admitted that even when Kevin does bad things, he still loves Kev because he’s his dad. After, Matt received a call from a honeymooning Nora. “You’re my number one guy,” she told him. Later, Nora almost caught Daniel speaking to his lover on his cell phone, but he lied that it was Riley. Nora assured Daniel that Matt would learn to love him… Bo was upset when a body was found, thinking it might be Asa’s; he was releaved that it wasn’t Asa’s, but upset that his pop will probably do time in prison for capturing Blair….
Kevin invited Duke to help him run Buchanan Enterprises. Matthew asked if he could help, too, explaining that he knows how to use computers….
Blair urged Todd to quit planning his revenge on Asa so she and Todd could work on rebuilding their life together. Later, Blair freaked out when Addie went to the hospital complaining of stomach pains, and was convinced that Margaret had poisoned her mom, but it turned out to be appendicitis….
Kevin and Kelly shared a friendly moment when he informed her that he went looking for Asa.

Starr told Todd she is worried about Blair. Todd did his best to comfort her. Meanwhile, Roxy and Nigel reported Todd to Bo for attacking Nigel. Bo dropped in on Todd and said he was there to arrest him. Bo warned Todd against seeking his own vigilante justice: “You just got your life back Manning. You got your family. Now don’t blow it because you’ve got this obsession.” Bo left without arresting Todd….
Jessica told Antonio that after speaking to the psychiatrist that she’s figured out she’s in love with Antonio and wants him back. They had sex….
Still staying with Kelly, David came downstairs in a towel while Dorian was there looking for him. It was a bit awkward for Kelly. Fearful that he looked silly standing there half-naked, David threw a sport coat over his towel. Dorian was livid and embarrassed that both Kelly, her niece, and David, her fiance, ran to stay at the carriage house owned by her nemesis, Viki, when things got sticky for them. She demanded that David get dressed and leave with her. David responded with a “You’re-not-the-boss-of-me” type response. Dorian gave him an ultimatum: “Come home with me right now, or it’s over.” He told her that he isn’t going with her. When they stood close, however, it was clear they still love each other, and even though Dorian said good-bye and walked out, it didn’t seem like it was forever….
While waiting for Roxy at the hair salon, Lindsay told Evangeline that Antonio is not a fit father. They got into a spat when Vangie alluded to Lindsay’s own shady character as a mother. “Maybe before you go around judging people you ought to take a good look at your relationships,” Lindsay fired back. “John is just stringing you along without making any kind of commitment while he wrestles with his feelings for Natalie.” Nat walked in as Evangeline denied John still has any feelings for her….
RJ was pleasantly surprised that Lindsay took his side in a discussion of the custody battle after her expressed reservations earlier. She told him that she is always going to be on his side no matter what her own opinions may be….
When alone, Natalie told Roxy that she realizes her dating Ron has made John jealous and asked for help on using that to her advantage. … Michael tried to force John to face his feelings for Natalie. “You better wake up and start being honest with yourself before it’s too late,” he warned. When Evangeline visited, John told her he had something he had to talk to her about, but before he did, Natalie interrupted with work business. After Nat left, Vangie asked John what it was he needed to talk to her about, but he backed down. “Actually, it can wait until later,” he hedged. “I know how busy you are. It wasn’t that important anyway.”
