Cris was concerned that Natalie was helping John by meeting up with a thug in Atlantic City. Natalie denied that she was doing this to get back with John, but Cris didn’t believe her for a minute. Vincent Jones showed up. Cris left, begrudgingly, and Jones began his meeting with Natalie. Vincent made it clear that he knew exactly who she was — a Buchanan — and that she worked in the police department. Vincent offered her an eyewitness to the shooting of Thomas McBain. Natalie asked what Vincent would want from her in return. Vincent suggested she back off and let “your cop boyfriend take care of this.” Natalie kept pushing. “If you want to meet this witness, I’m going to need something pretty significant,” stressed Vince.
Paige could barely accept the fact that the man she had killed was John and Michael McBain’s father. Spencer reminded Paige that no one hates a cop killer more than another cop. Paige’s parting words: “I’m going to be sick.” As she left Spencer’s office, she muttered to herself, “I’ve got to tell David.” Paige ran into Michael who noticed she looked a bit peaked. Michael explained he had just lost a patient and he felt responsible. He added that the patient had two small children. (Talk about twisting the guilt knife in poor Paige’s back!) Paige was about to tell Michael about her role in his father’s death, but Spencer interrupted and made sure that didn’t happen. Michael left and Spencer reminded Paige to keep her mouth shut.
Meanwhile, John told Bo that Paige was the person who killed his father. Bo said that wasn’t possible, but John recounted the scenario that resulted in Thomas’ death. Bo realized that Spencer was probably behind this. “She was so drunk she botched the closing,” John screamed. Bo kept trying to come up with an explanation, but didn’t do too well. Bo forbid John from going anywhere near Paige, “not with that look in your eye,” he barked. Bo and John rushed to the hospital, together, looking for Paige and Spencer. Spencer and Paige were in Spencer’s office. “Suck it up, Paige,” Spencer suggested, just as John and Bo showed up at the door. Paige looked terrified. Spencer kept his cool. John declared to Paige, “My father is dead because you were drunk when you operated on him.” John turned to Spencer — “and you covered it up. Start talking.”
David and Dorian ran into each other at the airport. David was waiting to board a plane to Thailand while Dorian returned from some sort of business trip with Darryl, where he was also working on “Operation Free Adriana.” Dorian wished that Rex suffer emotional and physical pain.
Nash and Tess cuddled. Tess had a nightmare that she was talking to Jessica. Jessica proclaimed that she would soon be back. She was going to marry Antonio and start a life with him, the baby and Jamie (Antonio’s daughter). Tess countered by taunting her about Norman, the man who abused them/her. That worked. Tess admitted to Nash she feared that Jessica was getting stronger. Nash pointed out to her that “you’re still here.” Nash left to get nachos. Tess whispered “Jessica” to the mirror. She then bent over in pain.
Rex interrupted Adriana’s photo shoot. Adriana accused Rex of sending her harassing e-mails. Rex denied sending her all “those creepy e-mails.” He decided she had a stalker. Rex e-mailed the alleged stalker to try to get him to stop.
