Old Fear, New Year
1999-2000
The Big Event: To get close to Sam (her old beau), Ivy invited Sam and Grace, and Eve and TC to ring in the New Year with her at the Seascape Restaurant. The younger set partied at the Youth Center, where Tabitha tried to murder Charity.
Party Foul: Faux Martin kidnapped Sheridan, then forced her to the top of the Seascape Restaurant. Luis pointed his gun at the bearded man he believed to be his father and demanded that he release Ms. Crane. When Sheridan and the impostor slipped through the skylight, Luis grabbed Sher’s hand and saved her life — just at the stroke of midnight. The furry guy, however, didn’t live to see 2000.
Holiday Bonus: Several women in Harmony worried about the superstition that claims being in someone’s arms at midnight leads to romance. Ethan and Gwen planned to become engaged at the turn of the year. However, she saw Theresa in Ethan’s arms when the clock hit 12 and asked Ethan to break up with her…. Sheridan accidentally asked Hank to the Youth Center party instead of Luis, but she was able to dance with the cop…. Chad and Simone found his death certificate on fire in Orville’s apartment. 
2000-01
The Big Event: Ethan and Theresa’s engagement party at the Crane mansion.
Party Foul: Tabloid reporter Mort Chandler handed Julian the cover story that revealed he’s not Ethan’s father. The guests were shocked to learn the Crane heir is actually Sheriff Sam’s son. Pregnant Grace fell down the stairs, which caused her to suffer a miscarriage.
Holiday Bonus: Eve worried that Chad could be her son, and Whitney was starting to fall for him…. At the Bennett house, Hecuba convinced Kay to lure Charity into the closet, where hell was located…. Tabitha and Timmy were on the run, fearing that her memoirs, published as Hidden Passions, would cause a major backlash. At a motel, the duo met psycho Norma, who blamed them for her already- deceased father’s death.
2001-02
The Big Event: Ivy threw a party at the Crane mansion.
Party Foul: Mort revealed Theresa’s pregnancy with a picture of her entering an abortion clinic. Ethan thought it was his child, but discovered that Julian was the father of Theresa’s baby. (In the summer of 2006, Theresa learned that Ethan is, in fact, the boy’s dad.) Rebecca realized she wasn’t legally wed to Julian because he had consummated his marriage to Theresa.
Holiday Bonus: “Brian” and “Diana” (really Antonio and Sheridan) were in Harmony…. TC had a vision of his father telling him to make Julian pay for TC’s car accident that ended his tennis career…. Right after turning into a real boy, a thrilled Timmy partied at the Young Center with the teens and was a hit. Zombie Charity flirted with several guys while the real Charity was frozen in a giant ice cube…. Julian was shot at the fish cannery.
