Comments

John Stamos (ex-Blackie, GH) has a sudsy new series in development at Amazon, reports www.deadline.com.  The series, set in the 1980s heady heyday of soaps, is inspired by the real-life experiences of Stamos, whose acting career was launched in 1982 when, at the age of 18, he landed the role of GH’s Blackie and garnered national limelight. According to the report, the series, written by Adam Stein, has been described as “Boogie Nights in the soap world.” Stamos can currently be seen in Netflix’s FULL HOUSE reboot, FULLER HOUSE.
