I have watched ATWT with both my Grandmother and Mother, they were to two that got me hooked was I was in grade school. And I have to admit that I was in LOVE with Hal as soon as I saw him.I wanted to be married to him, and I never understood why his wives would divorce him.He always treated them with respect and they never had to work, that was the best part.I missed him hard when he took a time off If I’m not mistaken because of an illness and they had a replacement for him. I didn’t like the replacement so I hope they don’t try to do that again, because there is only one Hal Munson. My prayers go out to his family and friends, I will never forget him as HAL.

I am so saddened to hear of the death of this wonderful man.I have watched As the World Turns for many years and have loved the Hal Munson character. Hal was loved by many people and will be sadly missed. His character went through so many changes through the years and the show will not be the same without this man.

I am so sad to see Benjamin (Hal) pass away. I can only imagine what his family is going through, but his daytime family as well. There’s Jennifer, Barbara, Will, Paul, Emily, Parker, Daniel, Margo, and of course, if they decide to write it in that he died, his other daughter, (I can’t remember her name, right off the bat). Hal was a good actor and I will miss him. July 12th was a hard day for me to watch him for the last time, it gave me chills down my spine when I seen him on t.v. My prayers are with everyone.

I have always loved his portrayal of Hal. I remember when he took a break last year and Randolph Mantooth filled in for him. It just wasn’t the same as our beloved Ben. I am truly saddened by his passing. May his soul rest in peace.

My mother, husband & I are all long time fans of ATWT. It doesn’t even scratch the surface to say that we are alldeeply saddenedby his passing. I thought it would be nice if ATWT did kind of a “best of”episodechronicling his many wonderful years on the show. I only wish he could have found whatever peace he was searching for in this lifetime.

Benjamin was a tremendous actor , I was devastated to hear he is gone. It is so sad to think that this man with so much talent chose to leave this world in such an untimely and horrible manner.
