I would like to add my condolences to both the family and cast mates at ATWT, and to all
of the fans who are mourning the great loss of Benjamin Hendrickson, Oakdale’s Chief of
Police. It is shocking to lose someone but to lose a loved one to suicide makes this death
even more tragic. All concerned will be in my thoughts and prayers. “Hal'” can never be
replaced and hopefully ATWT will honor Mr. Hendrickson by not even trying to do so.

I just want to say that I remember my mother always watching the soap (ATWT) and then I got hooked too at a very early age and I hope to be watching (ATWT) for the rest of my life!

Hal will be sadly missed to all and holds a spot in all of our hearts, forever.

I’m a huge ATWT fan, I watch it Monday through Friday faithfully. After Thursdays episode I was saddened to see that Oakdale’s chief of detectives Hal/Ben passed away. He had a way about himself as an actor. He was always smiling and so full of life. I will miss him. The next chief of detectives has some pretty big shoes to fill. I do not think there is anyone who will be as good as our Hal Munson (Benjamin Hendrickson). I send my sympathy and prayers to the ATWT cast members and the family of Ben. He was simply the best. God bless

He helped make and keep As The World Turns the show it is today. He was truly a gifted actor and brought fun and wonderful insights into that role. He will be sorely missed. What a talented actor Benjamin Hendrickson was. Every
time he was on screen as Hal Munson he brought a
convincing reality to the scene. How poignant during
his last show on ATWT on Wednesday when he said, “I
loved my Jennifer.” And how sad that career
fulfillment on ATWT was not enough to overcome his
