Meet the Marones Page 3
Dominick Marone
Family ties: son of Massimo Marone and Jacqueline Payne Marone. Half-brother of Ridge Forrester and Diana Carter. Cousin of Oscar Marone.
Dominick’s first stop in L.A. was at a hospital, where med student Bridget Forrester took care of him. When his mother Jackie arrived, she took his Marone ring and hid it before anyone could see. Within a short period of time, she admitted to Massimo that Nick was his son, and Nick soon embraced his family with open arms, even welcoming his new half-brother Ridge. Unfortunately, this caused some problems with Nick’s romance with Brooke, and she was shocked to realize she was dating another Forrester brother. As time went on, Brooke got back together with Ridge, and Nick pined in silence for the woman of his dreams.
When Ridge was presumed dead, Brooke and Nick found comfort in each other’s arms. When Ridge came back from the dead, Nick and Brooke decided no one ever needed to know about their tryst, but then Brooke turned up pregnant and paternity tests determined Nick was the father. After Brooke and Ridge’s marriage was annulled, Nick began looking forward to a life with his son with Brooke. He proposed to Brooke, but the marriage never happened after a jealous Ridge crashed the ceremony with a shady female business partner of Nick and Massimo. Nick and Mass were arrested for their dealings, but quickly released. That gave Brooke enough time to change her mind about marrying Nick, and shortly afterward she went into labor. Nick found out from Jackie that a second paternity test declared Ridge the child’s father. A brokenhearted Nick immediately told Brooke and Ridge, who were overjoyed. Nick mourned his losses in private until he met Felicia Forrester, Ridge’s half-sister. They formed an unlikely friendship, with Nick supporting Felicia through her battle with cancer. They ended up sleeping together.
