MCCOOK CAST IN O.C. MUSICAL

Molly McCook, daughter of B&B’s John McCook (Eric), has been cast in the Mischa Barton role of tragic popular girl Marissa Cooper in the L.A. stage production of The Unauthorized O.C. Musical, reports EW.com. McCook most recently played the Reese Witherspoon role in Cruel Intentions: The Musical. The gang from the hit teen sudser THE O.C., which ran on the CW from 2003-07, gets the musical treatment for one-night only performance on August 30. Others in the cast include Tilky Jones (ex-Sean, NASHVILLE) as Ryan, Brendan Robinson (ex-Lucas, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS) as Seth and Greer Grammer (ex-Lissa, AWKWARD) as Summer. Autumn Reeser, who played Taylor during the series’ run, returns this time playing manipulative momma bear Julie Cooper. The event takes place at The Federal Bar in North Hollywood, CA. McCook appeared several times on B&B in 2010 as Margot, a friend of Hope’s (Kim Matula).
