The Martin Chronicles
Though these days, Jake only has eyes for wife Amanda, Tad certainly ain’t the only Martin boy with a bevy of conquests in his past. Here’s a look back at the significant ladies in his life from before Amanda claimed his heart.
Emily Ann Sago: Jake’s first love was troubled Emily Ann, with whom he eloped when they were teens. Ultimately, Emily Ann lost control of her mental faculties and the marriage ended.
Liza Colby: When Jake returned to P.V. after medical school, he quickly hit the sheets with Liza. He wanted a real relationship, but her entanglements with Tad and Adam got in the way.
Allie Doyle: Jake fancied his hospital colleague, who had neglected to mention that she shared a romantic past with David. That deception proved to be the relationship’s undoing.
Gillian Andrassy: Jake fell hard for Gillian in the wake of her divorce from Ryan. They wed, but she still loved Lavery, so divorce was inevitable.
Greenlee Smythe: Jake took up with Greenlee next. He was smitten, and so was she … but she was even more besotted with ex-beau Leo. She gave Jake the boot in favor of a Leo redux.
Mia Saunders: Though Jake initially asked Mia out in the hopes of making Greenlee jealous, things got serious with Mia, Liza’s younger half sister. They got engaged, but Mia dumped him when he cheated with a hospital co-worker, Allison.
Carolyn Finn: Jake met Carolyn while on assignment for Doctors Without Borders. They wed, but she left him for another man.
Taylor Thompson: Jake had started to fall in love with Taylor when her not-so-dead fiance, Brot, came to town. Jake stepped aside, and ended up taking another look at a woman he’d previously dismissed as a sexual plaything: Amanda.
