Love For Sale
Clarke Garrison: That’s right! Back in 1987, Stephanie hired the young,
hunky designer to romance her daughter Kristen, who Mom suspected was
frigid. Clarke’s assignment was to heat up Kristen, but during one of his
clandestine meetings with Stephanie, he drew his boss into a passionate
kiss! After Clarke revealed his attraction for Steph (even gifting her with
a brooch), she briefly entertained the thought of an affair. But Mrs.
Forrester decided against it and focused on her ailing marriage instead.
Bill, No Sale
Bill Spencer: The handsome widower wasn’t thrilled when daughter Caroline
tied the knot with Forrester scion Ridge in 1990, but Bill always maintained
a soft spot in his heart for Stephanie. He even helped her get rid of a
romantic rival (Brooke’s mom, Beth) by sending Beth and her husband,
Stephen, to Paris for a made-up job opportunity. As Steph’s marriage
floundered, Bill stepped up his pursuit, but she wasn’t interested accepting
his advances.
Life Is A Cab Away
Adam Briggs: In 1991, Adam was a former English teacher living on the
streets when he was captivated by another homeless peer named Liz. Despite
her destitution, regal-looking Liz wasn’t your garden-variety vagrant. Turns
out she was really amnesiac Stephanie, who was a long way from her cushy
existence in Beverly Hills. Liz was equally smitten with Adam and they even
shared a date that ended with a tender kiss. But Adam found a poster about
missing Stephanie, and despite his growing affection, sent her home in a cab
to reunite with her worried family.
You Don’t Know Jack
Jack Hamilton: When Jack came to L.A. in 1992 for daughter Taylor’s wedding
to Ridge, the now-divorced Stephanie was instantly smitten with her son’s
handsome new father-in-law. A romance soon followed, but Steph was not happy
when she found out he was also dating Sally. Jack produced an engagement
ring, but Steph kicked him to the curb when she found out that his son,
Zach, had endangered her daughter Felicia’s life. After some time apart,
Jack grew weary of his tempestuous relationship with Sally and professed his
love for Stephanie. They reconciled, however, Sally didn’t give up easily
and claimed that Jack had impregnated her. Though Stephanie exposed the lie,
she and Jack eventually fizzled because of her undiminished love for Eric.
Critical Mass
Massimo Marone: Massimo was Stephanie’s first boyfriend from Chicago who had
become a wealthy, powerful shipping tycoon. He’d always resented Eric for
taking Stephanie away, and Mass wasn’t too pleased to come back to L.A. in
2001 to discover that the Forresters had remarried. When Ridge was
hospitalized after a freak accident, Stephanie learned that Massimo is his
father, not Eric. At the time, Stephanie only revealed the truth to Massimo,
who was thrilled and hoped they would become a family. Indeed, when Eric
and Stephanie separated, she moved into Massimo’s penthouse, where he hoped
she would stay indefinitely and learn to love him. But Steph salvaged her
marriage, and she and Mass remained friends.
