List Finds Some Law & Order

Comments

Peyton List (Lucy, As the World Turns) was as good as dead on the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit season finale.”I got to play a dead person, which was a first for me,” reveals List, who played an alleged rape victim who was kidnapped from a New York hospital and later murdered. “You see dead people on TV shows and you actually think they’re dead. You don’t think it’s an actor lying there, at least I don’t. It was very weird. They have to paint your body blue and make your lips purple and you can’t breathe. You have to hold your breath.”While it was creepy, List found herself among some friendly faces. “I was in some scenes with Tamara Tunie (Jessica, ATWT), who plays the medical examiner,” smiles List. “She was the one talking about me and standing over me in scenes. I see Tamara at the [ATWT] set all the time, so it was nice when I got to the [SVU] set, I already knew someone.”
List is a big fan of SVU‘s whodunits. “There are always tons of twists and you can never guess who [the perpetrator] is until the very end,” she raves. “It’s pretty cool.”
If you missed List on Law & Order: SVU‘s season finale on NBC May 16, check out the re-airing of that episode on USA May 25 at 11 p.m. EDT.
