KRISTOFF ST. JOHN FILES LAWSUIT
Kristoff St. John (Neil, Y&R) and ex-wife, Mia, have filed a lawsuit against La Casa Psychiatric Health Facility in Long Beach, CA, in connection with the November, 2014 death of their son, Julian. The lawsuit, which was filed on Tuesday, alleges that nurses and staff members at the mental health facility regularly skipped mandatory check-ins and observations of Julian, who had attempted suicide two and a half weeks prior to his death, and should have been checked every 15 minutes. The St. Johns allege that surveillance footage shows that nobody had looked in on their son for almost an hour before he was found in the bathroom, with a bag over his head.
