KNOTS LANDING Fave Dies At 77
Kevin Dobson, best known for his portrayal of Mack McKenzie on KNOTS LANDING from 1982-93, passed away on September 6, according to a Facebook post by the United Veterans Council of San Joaquin County, for which he had formerly served as Chairman. The actor was 77 and played minor roles on ONE LIFE TO LIVE and THE DOCTORS at the start of his career, then briefly played Mickey Horton on DAYS in 2008. For his KL role, Dobson earned five Soap Opera Digest Awards.
