Jack and Jennifer: Fully Covered Page 2
DAYS’ Jack and Jennifer: Sex
(Oct. 9, 2001, Vol. 12 Issue 41)
After Jack’s proposal and Jennifer’s refusal, Jack turned to the bottle and in a drunken stupor kissed Greta, just as Jennifer walked in on them. Jack and Jennifer argued, and Jack accused Jennifer of driving him into Greta’s arms. Then, in a last-ditch effort to land the woman he loved, Jack pulled out an engagement ring and proposed to Jennifer, again. Before Jennifer could respond, Jack kissed her and one thing lead to another as the couple prepared to make love. Too bad an interruption killed the moment.
The Future of DAYS OF OUR LIVES
(Feb. 5, 2002, Vol. 13 Issue 6)
The Salem super couple grew farther apart when Jennifer insisted Greta move in with her and Jack. It was part of Jennifer’s plan to trap Jack into admitting his big “secret.” Little did Jennifer know the secret was a whopper of a lie. To discourage Greta’s advances, Jack had told her he was gay. Now, Greta ordered Jack to ‘fess up to Jennifer about his sexual persuasion or vowed to do it herself. If all that wasn’t bad enough, Jack also had to deal with the two other men in Jennifer’s life: Brandon and Colin.
Jack, Jennifer and Greta: Gotcha!
(April 23, 2002, Vol. 13, Issue 17)
While dodging mobsters in Vegas who wanted to kill him for accidentally picking up their briefcase full of money, Jack dropped a major bombshell. He admitted to the world that he was not gay, infuriating Jennifer and Greta. A hurt and angry Jennifer chastised Jack, insisting that he would never change and things would never work out between them. Meanwhile, a shattered Greta slapped Jack across his face for lying to her for months.
Jack, Jennifer and Billie: Caught in a Compromising Position
(Sept. 10, 2002; Volume 13 Issue 37)
Jennifer sat up and took notice when Jack went out on a date with another woman: Billie. Having learned his lesson by pretending to be involved with Greta, this time Jack was totally honest. He and Billie were old friends, and they were simply renewing their acquaintance. But it didn’t sit well with Jennifer who didn’t like her ex getting cozy with anyone — particularly her old pal Billie.
Happy Valentine’s Day: All DAYS Couples
(Feb. 18, 2003, Vol. 14 Issue 7)
Valentine’s DAYS 2003 proved a happy one for Jack and Jennifer fans. After years apart, the estranged couple found their way back to one another and got engaged. But it was Jennifer who did the proposing this time around. Dressed in a Santa Claus suit, reminiscent of the one Jack wore years earlier when he popped the question to her, Jennifer asked Jack for his hand in marriage. Needless to say, he eagerly accepted.
DAYS Cast Stunned By Firing
(Aug. 26, 2003, Vol. 14 Issue 34)
It was Matthew Ashford and Melissa Reeves’s last interview together as a DAYS super couple, or so it seemed. On the heels of learning Jack would be The Salem Stalker’s second victim, WEEKLY offered fans a final glimpse into the charismatic couple that had been entertaining them for years via an exclusive interview with the two actors. Less than a year later, however, it was announced that Jack, as well as all the other dearly departed were really alive.
