“This is the living room. [The photographer] is just showing you one chair and a half. There’s another chair and a half and a couch. All of them are in the same stone-colored fabric because I have a lot of art on the walls. So it’s a white room with this neutral furniture so the art really shows up. With the exception of the fact that I was helped with the makeup to compensate for what photographs and lighting will do, this is how you’ll catch me on a good day. Two weeks later, I show up and here I am at One Life to Live wearing thousands of dollars worth of clothes, and the product of some interesting custom-made hairpieces and hours of very talented makeup.”
