1992: Billy punched Jack when he learned that Jack had tried to rape Vanessa. Little Billy (Bryan Buffinton) ran away, and Billy and Vanessa shared a passionate kiss while looking for him. Nadine talked a pregnant Bridget into letting her take the baby to pass off as her and Billy’s.
1993: Nadine passed off Bridget’s baby, Peter, as her own. When Vanessa learned the truth, Billy kicked Nadine out and divorced her. Billy and Vanessa remarried.1994: Roger (Michael Zaslow, l.) was shot and accused Billy of doing it. Billy later admitted to the crime and was sentenced to nine years in jail. When Bridget tried to regain custody of Peter, Vanessa divorced Billy to have a better chance of winning.
1996: Vanessa faked her death after learning that she had a degenerative brain disease. Billy was temporarily released from jail to attend her funeral.
1997: Billy was freed from prison for good behavior and tried to reunite Josh and Reva.
1998: Billy left town for an extended business trip.
1999: After losing Lewis Oil again to the Spauldings, Josh (Robert Newman) and Billy created Lewis Construction.
2000: Billy and Holly dated (they met at AA), but she decided not to explore a relationship with him.
2001: Alan was forced to return Lewis Oil to the Lewis family. Meanwhile, Billy and Buzz (Justin Deas, r.) competed for Holly’s (Maureen Garrett) affections.
2003: Billy, Ed, Buzz and Josh each visited Maryanne Caruthers’s grave.
2004: Billy, Buzz, Josh, Alan (Ron Raines, c.) and Ed (Peter Simon, far l.) were embroiled in the Maryanne Caruthers mystery and eventually learned that Carrie killed Maryanne, so they weren’t responsible, after all. Later, Billy worked with Phillip to have Olivia deported. She was thrown in jail, but Bill married her anyway.
2005: Billy and Bill fought over Bill’s marriage to Olivia. Billy and Jonathan teamed up to run Outskirts. Liv switched Billy’s water with vodka and he fell off the wagon. When Bill found out what Olivia had done, he left for Venezuela. Billy kept drinking in secret.
2006: Billy and Reva grew close as she tried to help him stop drinking. He started to develop feelings for his ex-wife again, even going so far as to hand divorce papers to Reva that Josh (r.) had drawn up just as Reva and Josh were on the verge of reuniting.
