Reva told Billy that she’s mulling over his proposal, but that there was something they had to do first. She left a message inviting Josh and Cassie to join her and Billy for dinner that night. Reva explained to Billy that she didn’t want to spend her remaining days afraid to be around them…. Josh picked up Cassie, who was frantically rushing about in preparation of the party honoring Tammy’s paper.
Lizzie and Jonathan got ready for the festivities, but Jonathan was unhappy that he couldn’t be at the guest of honor’s side as her boyfriend. As they left their apartment, Dr. Baker was in his usual lurking location. Jon asked if Alan ever let his spy take a break to eat and offered him a sandwich, which Baker eagerly accepted. Jonathan later revealed to Lizzie that it was a laxative sandwich. Eww!
Remy picked up Tammy for the party and presented her with an old-fashioned corsage…. A beaming Cassie and Josh arrived to the bash on Main Street. Tammy fretted over whether Jonathan would show. She broke into a big smile when she spotted him. Jonathan had a surprisingly civil conversation with Josh and Cassie…. Cassie retrieved Reva’s message. She and Josh were unsettled by Reva’s dinner invite, but agreed to leave the party, with Tammy’s blessing…. Jonathan fumed as he observed a corsage-adorned Tammy mingle with Remy and the Boudreau/Bauer clan. Jon got a moment alone with Remy and ordered him to back off. When Remy walked back to his group, Lizzie told Jonathan that Tammy likes the Boudreau/Bauer clan because they are like a perfect TV family. Can you say Huxtable? Not-so-perfect Rick noticed Jonathan glowering and warned him to keep his mouth shut about Rick’s affair with Beth. Afterward, Tammy joined Jonathan for a private smooch session on the rooftop. They weren’t alone for long: Alan arrived and began snapping photos.
Cassie and Josh arrived at the Beacon for Reva’s catered dinner. Josh and Cassie behaved very much like a giggly in-love couple, which wounded Reva. She blurted that she and Billie were engaged. Josh looked displeased, but appropriate congratulatory pleasantries were exchanged. When they were alone, Reva told Billy that he is the person she wants to spend the rest of her life with. Let’s get hitched in Vegas, she said.
As Buzz was trying to make up with Olivia, she received a call notifying her that her long-lost daughter’s name is Ava Peralta, who at the moment was in the clutches of Olivia’s hit man, Gillespie. Olivia told Buzz that he was right when he said that they needed space and advised him to go to the restaurant convention in New Orleans by herself. She made a beeline to Ava’s room and rifled through her things, but was caught by Coop. She claimed that she wanted to apologize and begged Coop to find Ava. She managed to swipe a photo album, which confirmed that Ava is her daughter. Liv tracked down Gillespie, who told her the job is done.
