A happy Edmund greeted Dinah with a kiss but she was unhappy he lost her pills to Jeffrey. Edmund said he likes to “shape reality to fit my idea of happiness.” Dinah suggested Cassie will figure out the baby secret, but Edmund pooh-poohed that she’s too blind to look. When Dinah suggested Michelle might know in her heart her baby is alive, Edmund countered that she’ll get over it — and nobody else will figure it out, either. Sure, Marina was being nosy but she wouldn’t pursue it, because Danny would “throw her out like a dirty diaper.” And don’t hold your breath for a rescue from Jonathan. Also, Jeffrey is staying away from Cassie due to the death threats Edmund arranged. Dinah laughed that Edmund had become a Bond villain. Ed thought they were alike: both have dreams and plans to make it happen. Dinah started massaging his shoulders — then grabbed a towel and started strangling him! He broke free and hissed, “Not even attempted murder could ruin my day today,” before storming out. At Company, Marina was working and babbling like a crazy person, ranting about Michelle going to California see her father and getting swept along in the “emotional tide” that is “Michelle and Danny,” and oh, by the way, Michelle admitted she still loves Danny. Is Marina supposed to just step aside? She knows she keeps pushing Danny toward Michelle. Finally, she pronounced, “I’m nuts,” and went outside, where Danny was loitering. She told him she ran into Michelle, who talked about Cali. Danny was shocked, and Marina begged him to kiss her before going to Michelle. Marina told Buzz all this baby stuff doesn’t add up. Michelle was delirious, but what if someone really was there and she just imagined Danny because that’s what she wanted to believe? (Sounds like a soap opera). Buzz said her “new cop’s brain” is in “overdrive,” and she should drop it. But Marina can’t let Michelle leave town until she figures it out.

Jonathan watched Cassie with Hope at Company and wondered: “Where did you get that baby, Edmund?” He asked Marina if she had any training in missing persons, because “a friend” went MIA a few weeks ago. Marina told him the first few hours are critical. (Apparently, she missed the class about the person needing to be missing 24 hours before the police will do anything). But she did suggest that sometimes kidnappers are known to the victim — maybe even a loved one. At that moment, Uncle Eddie arrived to pick up a take-out order, and Jonathan followed him. Rick and Michelle chatted about how Robbie is growing, but Michelle felt trapped “between lives.” Michelle insisted there are some things a mother knows, and “I’m never gonna stop feeling like I didn’t lose that baby.” Rick asked what it would take to make her stay in Springfield. Cue Danny! He was furious at her for running away and abandoning Robbie. Again. He didn’t want that sadness again — for himself or Robbie. Michelle feared she didn’t have good memories to share with their son — just tales of Grandma trying to kill Mommy a lot, being on the run, undercover and under surveillance. And the mob. “We’re combustible together,” she said. Apart, there was no mortal danger. She can’t stay because there’s too much between them. She revealed she sometimes wakes up expecting to see Danny: “No us feels like no me.” The World’s Wimpiest Gangster started sobbing, they embraced, then kissed.

Cassie was with Harley as she prepared for her first day as Spaulding CEO, admitting she had no idea what to do. But at least she looked powerful, serious and fiscally responsible — until she donned that multicolored kiddie backpack. Harley insisted her CEO job was good for the kids, but Cassie told her she can’t have it all. Look how Jeffrey was pulling away from Cassie. Harley assured her that “guy’s guy” Jeff simply needed time to adjust to the baby. This convinced Cassie, who now suggested, “We can have it all.” Harley replied: “We can sure try,” and left. When Jeffrey appeared, Cassie grabbed him and demanded to know why he was ducking her. Edmund watched Cassie and Jeffrey kiss, and made a cell call — which Jonathan watched. Harley told her star-struck assistant, Steven, she wanted to be called “Harley,” and unpacked photos of her kids. Beth burst in — with flowers and an offer of alliance. Steven said the press downstairs want a statement on the “new direction” of Spaulding. Harley sent them coffee and doughnuts and went to face them. Beth went to Rick and told him Harley was in over her head, and she worried about their kid. Later, Harley reveled over handling the press, and settled into her job. Cassie demanded to know why Jeffrey has missed all the diaper changes and and 3 a.m. feedings (Lady, you have to ask!?!?) He said it’s complicated. She said, you’re the man, fix it. But he got a text message: “Don’t forget, we’re watching — all of you.” Jeffrey promised to see her again soon. They kissed and he said he loves her, and doesn’t want to see her sad and confused. Still, he balked at telling her why — thereby making her sad and confused. Edmund returned to the farm/prison with food while Dinah performed yoga. (Did he bring yogurt?) Outside, Jonathan stood before the steel door. “Where the hell did he go?” (Um, through the door?) While Dinah looked through the food for poison, Eddie heard a noise. Jonathan was trying to get in. Dinah tried to scream, but Edmund silenced her as Jonathan picked at the lock.
