At the police station, Tammy was taken aback by Remy’s invitation to move into his new place. He clarified that she’d be one of three roommates: Marina is also moving in. Tammy declined, noting that she has a room at the Beacon and then added that Jonathan doesn’t like Remy. Marina arrived and urged her friend to accept the offer. Tammy needed time to think, but Remy informed her that they’d sign the lease that evening.
After blurting that she’d brought Ava into the world, Olivia covered. Buzz took Liv to his place, then angrily informed her that he doesn’t believe that Ava’s the one lying about the attempted hit on her life. Despite blasting Olivia for tearing his family apart, Buzz admitted that he wants to be with her. They fell to the bed and made love. Afterward, Olivia swore that she’d make Buzz proud of her…. With Coop out of earshot, Ava phoned Alan-Michael and said she needs him after all. Coop and Ava headed down to the station to see Frank. A-M was there with a security photo of Gillespie, Ava’s hired thug. Frank recognized Gillespie as the same guy who was allegedly harassing Olivia. Frank told Ava that it’s her word against Liv. A-M pressed Frank to bring in Olivia.
Reva and Jonathan shared a heart-to-heart on Main Street. She filled her son in on her plan to drive to her death Thelma & Louise-style. Jonathan noted that since she lived life on her own terms, he understood that she’d want to die on her own terms. Reva had a surprise for Jonathan: She bought the fishing shack that he and Tammy had used. As they discussed her exit again, Cassie came along and overheard bits of the conversation, she was clearly troubled. After Jon left, one of Reva’s doctors approached and they chatted about her condition, which Cassie also heard. Trying to put two and two together, Cass slipped into Reva’s room at the Beacon, where she found a withdrawal slip for a large sum of cash. Jonathan ran into Lizzie. He told her he was going to his new trysting place with Tammy: the fishing shack.
Tammy went to see her mom for advice. Cassie wasn’t home, but Josh, who was repairing the stove, offered advice about moving on with her life. Tammy phoned Remy to accept the offer. In the meantime, Jon was setting up a romantic picnic at the shack. He sent a message to Tammy. Separately, Remy and Jonathan waited for Tammy to show up…. Cassie returned home and told Josh that she thinks Reva is in trouble. Back in her room, Reva struggled to write a farewell note to Josh.
Buzz and Olivia’s peaceful moment was interrupted when Frank barged in with Ava and Coop to arrest her. “I’m your mother!” shrieked Liv.
