Buzz lit a candle for Reva. He pointed out to Olivia that it was a waste of time to keep fighting and gestured toward Ava. Olivia, Coop, Ava and Buzz took a care package to Cedars for the Lewises. Buzz comforted Cassie. Later, at Company, Buzz accused Alan of drinking not because of Reva but because Lizzie’s daughter wouldn’t need him. Buzz watched the candle he lit burn out.

Billy tried to convince Josh that it was Reva’s time to die, but Josh blasted Billy for encouraging Reva to quit. Reva pulled out the wires to some of her monitors. Lillian tried to kick Josh and Billy out for their fighting, but Reva wanted her Bud to stay, so Cassie and Billy left. Reva revealed that she intended to die in her sports car the night of her going away party. “Hot little coffin, huh?” she cracked weakly, but Josh was irate. “You had no right, Reva!” he puffed. Josh wanted Reva to prove her love for him by standing up and walking out the door. Reva convinced a wary Josh to reminisce with her (and viewers were treated to vintage Josh and Reva flashbacks). Reva wanted Josh to say the word she needed to hear: Goodbye. Josh sniffed that he was scared of losing Reva. “Let Cassie take care of you,” Reva pleaded. “Whatever I am, whatever good I’ve done, is because of loving you,” Josh told Reva, movingly. “Let me stay with you,” he pleaded. Meanwhile, Billy revealed to Cassie that Reva planned to commit suicide. Cassie kissed Billy on the cheek and thanked him for all he had done. Reva asked Cassie to take care of Josh and Cassie agreed. Billy pleaded with Josh to tell Reva that it was all right to die. “It’s okay, Reva,” Josh comforted. “Always,” Reva choked and then flatlined.

“You’re using my dying mother to worm your way into our family?” Jonathan accused Alan. Alan wondered if Lizzie really wanted him out of her life. Lizzie claimed that if Alan began acting like a grandfather, then maybe…. Lizzie defended Jonathan to Alan. She announced that Jonathan is her husband and she loves him. Alan followed Lizzie and Jonathan to their sonogram, but Lizzie wouldn’t let him in. Lizzie tried to send Jonathan to be with Reva, but he wanted to see the sonogram. When Lizzie worried that the baby hadn’t moved in a long time, Jonathan assured, “This baby is meant to be.” Lizzie was touched by his faith. They watched a 3-D image of the baby. Jonathan regretted that his daughter would never meet Reva.
