Vanessa surprised Dinah at the Beacon with the news that she, Matt and Maureen were moving back to Springfield. “Hell no!” Dinah responded, worried that her mother was relocating to keep an eye on her. Olivia overheard Dinah and Vanessa arguing about Vanessa putting her daughter up for adoption. Olivia grilled a suspicious Dinah about her feelings about the adoption. Olivia listened as Dinah and Vanessa made up. Dinah offered to let Vanessa kick her if she stepped out of line again.
Coop realized that Ava was avoiding him. He saw the bruises on her arms. Ava reluctantly explained that Olivia hadn’t attacked her — the bruises were from someone who Olivia had hired. Coop was incensed to realize that Ava still hadn’t gone to the police. He called Frank over, but Ava made up a lie about someone tailgating her. Once Frank was gone, Coop urged Ava to turn Olivia in. When Coop left Ava alone, Olivia showed up.
Josh brought Cassie to Cross Creek, where she spotted Josh and Reva’s inscription on the wall. Josh apologized for bringing Cassie there, but she claimed they were fine. Meanwhile, Billy stormed in on Reva’s dinner with Alan and ordered the Spaulding to stay away from Reva and her family. “I fight a lot dirtier than Josh,” warned Billy. Reva felt dizzy so Billy covered that Reva was drunk and they left together. Reva and Billy encountered Josh and Cassie on Main Street. Josh offered to give Reva and Billy Cross Creek as a wedding gift. Josh and Cassie retired to the Beacon, where he was happy to start over with her at a place with no memories. Reva realized it was time to start saying her goodbyes.
Back at the restaurant, Jonathan wondered if Tammy was leaving him. Tammy lamented that it felt like she was sneaking around with a married man and told Jonathan that she needed time away from him. Jonathan blamed Remy for her decision, but she claimed that it had nothing to do with Remy, though she did believe that the Bauers were normal and real. Tammy ran away from Jonathan and into Remy’s arms. Jonathan decided to prove to Tammy that there were no happy families by showing everyone his photo of Rick and Beth smooching. Jonathan announced that Rick and Beth have been seeing each other for months.
