At Company, Reva stormed in demanding of Buzz, “What are we drinking?” Reva announced that earlier she and Josh had been “together.” Buzz blanched at the over-share. She worried about Olivia moving in on Josh. “You slept with him to mark your territory?” Buzz wondered. Reva conceded that may have been the case. She worried that Josh might think they were back together. Buzz warned that Josh might not wait around forever for her to figure out what she wants, and she’d be sorry. Frank announced that an SUV had crashed, and Reva worried that it could be Josh’s car. Meanwhile, in the parking garage, Josh teased Cassie that she hit the jackpot being trapped with him during the blackout. Josh filled Cassie in on his “breakthrough” with Reva, but worried that if the reconciliation didn’t work out, he would have a difficult time upwrapping his life from hers. When Cassie lamented losing Hope, Josh urged her to build a relationship with the child. He gave her a boost to the car roof, so that she could phone Danny and check up on the baby. Cassie was cheered by the call. Then Josh got a call from Reva. The marrieds clued one another in to their whereabouts and Josh asked Reva to wait for him at Company when the lights came back on. However when the blackout ended and Josh went to meet Reva, she was nowhere to be found.
The blackout trapped Marina and Michelle in an elevator together. Marina wanted Michelle to let Danny go, but Michelle countered that what Danny felt for Marina couldn’t compare to what he felt for her. When the lights came on Michelle promised Marina could have it all: Love, romance and excitement. “Don’t settle for less,” she intoned. On her way to work, a man hit Marina with his car and she arrested him. Danny wondered aloud what Michelle and Marina had talked about in the elevator. From the doorway, Michelle overheard and explained that they were talking about Danny. Then she kissed her ex.
Dinah and Harley made their way down the stairwell at Spaulding in the dark. Dinah accused Harley of still having feelings for Mallet, but Harley denied it. Dinah said she didn’t want any man. They bonded over their past friendship, and when Harley and Dinah finally got to the ground floor, Harley offered to get Dinah a job at Spaulding, though not as head of PR. Harley still believed Dinah was a menace, but “you’re my menace to society.”
Alan and Edmund boasted about the success of the blackout they orchestrated, but Edmund lamented that Josh prevented him from approaching Cassie. Alan promised that Edmund would have another chance. When the lights came back on, Frank found Alan sitting in his cell. Meanwhile, Tammy lit candles in the bridal shop. “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest one of all?” she asked. Jonathan stepped out of the shadows and announced that was an easy question to answer. Tammy, afraid of the dark, asked him to get her out of the shop. Jonathan broke the security gate, but when she wanted to leave, he detained her, explaining it wasn’t safe. But, then, perhaps it wasn’t safe inside either, he wondered, eyeing at Tammy meaningfully. Jonathan wanted to get a good look at Tammy’s dress, and she was overwhelmed at all of the things still left to do before the wedding, including writing her vows. Jonathan asked her to practice what she had prepared, with him posing as Sandy, and she reluctantly agreed. When she finished reciting her speech about how safe and protected she felt with Sandy, Jonathan announced that it was his turn. He couldn’t promise to keep her safe because what they feel for one another threatens people, but he promised she would be the most important person in the world and he would never stop needing, wanting or loving….Tammy cut him off and ordered him to leave. He wouldn’t go without her, so (in slow motion!) he swept her off her feet and carried her out of the store. Cassie arrived at the empty bridal salon, where Edmund was lurking.
