Danny surprised Marina with a rooftop date in honor of “Marina Day.” She teased him for having honed his romantic technique on the other women in his life. When Danny told Marina that he was honored that she stuck by him through the drama with Michelle, Marina grew uncomfortable and began pruning the bushes. Danny admitted that he considered leaving town with Michelle and Robbie, and she assured that she was okay with that and happy he chose her. Mallet interrupted and announced (in front of Danny) that he needed to speak with her about Edmund and Michelle (Hopefully Mallet and Gus won’t be assigned to any sensitive undercover work…). Marina replied that the case was closed with no loose ends. Danny was annoyed that Marina lied about dropping the case, but was awed when he realized that she put he and Michelle above her own happiness.
Sandy flatlined, but Rick revived him. A distraught Tammy turned to find Jonathan behind her. She tried to kick Jonathan out, but he refused to leave. He urged her to break the rules, but she insisted that she loved Sandy and blamed herself for his accident. Jonathan reasoned that Sandy hadn’t gotten hurt because they gave into their feelings, but because they hadn’t admitted them sooner. Tammy confessed that she couldn’t let go of her feelings for Jonathan, but when Rick informed her that she could go back in to see Sandy, she announced she still planned to marry him. Jonathan kissed her and explained that while he was leaving, he would be there when she needed him. Rick warned that the more time passed, the less likely it was that Sandy would recover. Tammy made a deal with God, that if he got better she would never see Jonathan again.
At the faux farm, Edmund melted down when he couldn’t find Dinah. Edmund called Ross and Bill looking for Dinah. Meanwhile, at the real farm, Mallet went to the farm looking for Edmund and Cassie wondered what his latest crime was. Cassie assured him that Hope was her baby. But when he approached Hope, Cassie explained that she got fussy around strangers. Mallet took the hint and left. Cassie called Edmund and ordered him to come to the farm immediately. When he arrived, Cassie announced that she wanted Edmund out of Hope’s life, then booted him from the house. Cassie found Jonathan in the barn and thanked him for not telling Tammy about the black market baby. She revealed that she saw a difference in him. When Edmund left, Dinah came out of the wall, and tried to escape, but Edmund had locked the door. When Edmund returned to the faux farm, Dinah snuck out of the wall again and stole his phone. He doused the apartment in kerosene as Dinah placed a call. Mallet read Edmund’s criminal record.
