Dinah, dressed like a sexy cat, wanted to have fun on Halloween, but Mallet wouldn’t let her out of his sight. Finally he snapped handcuffs on her, just to keep her with him, so she wouldn’t disappear before her probation hearing later that day. He actually locked her up with Alan at the jail temporarily while he took care of some work…. Later, in normal clothes, Dinah left the courtroom. The judge had appointed Mallet to watch out for Dinah, to make sure she kept her probation appointments and showed up for community service, which grated on her nerves.
A disguised Edmund snuck into the and told Alan that they’d both get what they wanted. Later, Alan teased Mallet over still loving Harley, and also having sparks with Dinah.
At the farmhouse, Reva asked Sandy when the wedding was. He told her soon. Meanwhile, Cassie was trying to keep up a good front for RJ, but when the little boy asked to go to his friend’s house, she allowed herself to break down. Reva was there to comfort her. Reva suggested they pretend a pumpkin was Edmund’s head and smash it. “A little throwing and smashing always worked for me,” she said. She suggested throwing another one and pretending it was Dinah, but Cassie said she didn’t blame her former nemesis. Once alone, Cassie called Dinah over to help her deal with losing Hope.
At Outskirts, Jonathan again encouraged Ava to give up Sandy. He introduced her to a lawyer who could arrange for a quickie divorce. Just as Tammy was suggesting to Sandy that they get married that night, Ava called him because she had made a decision, and asked him to meet her at Outskirts. Once there, Sandy quickly signed the papers. Ava wept as she did the same. He hugged her and took off. She wondered out loud if Jon’s plans would work: that Sandy would eventually come back to her.
Tammy got out of the shower and there was a knock at the door. She assumed it was Sandy, and called out to him that he could comb her hair. She was taken aback to find Jonathan there, offering to help her get the tangles out. He told her he wanted to throw her an engagement party at Outskirts, to help him move on and to see if she had made the right decision by choosing Sandy. She didn’t want to let him, but she was still drawn to him, as he picked up a comb and brushed her hair. Sandy interrupted them, and asked what Jon was doing there. Jonathan said he wanted to throw them an engagement party, which surprisingly, Sandy said was a great idea.
