As Sandy was preparing to leave the hospital, Jonathan decided to be his last visitor. He let Sandy know he was sniffing around to find out whatever he was hiding. Meanwhile, Tammy informed Ava that Sandy was going to be moving in with her. Tammy decided the awkward look on Ava’s face was due to her disapproval of people living together before they got married. A phone call interrupted the girls’ conversation. It was Sandy, requesting to meet Ava on the roof of the hospital. Too bad for him Jonathan was eavesdropping.
Sandy startled Ava on the rooftop, declaring he had made a fresh start and he met someone he planned on asking to marry him. “Nobody can stop me, including you,” he warned. He wanted to forget about the past. She had one condition: He had to give her Tammy’s ring. Sandy said he couldn’t and his lawyer, Fallon, arrived at that moment. Sandy left Ava with Fallon. “Let’s figure out how to keep this unfortunate secret a permanent secret,” he said. Their conversation was interrupted when Jonathan showed up.
Once at the hospital, Tammy went to an empty Sandy’s room. She told God she was so grateful that Sandy was okay and promised to keep up her end of the bargain. She’d keep her distance from Jonathan. Surprise, surprise, Jonathan showed up at that exact moment. She told him they could be friends and tried to insist her feelings would go away. Tammy took Sandy back to her place where they decided to leave the past in the past and concentrate on each other. Sandy promised his lady love that no one would ever hurt her again. While Sandy was proposing to Tammy, Ava was revealing to Jonathan that Sandy had married her.
Michelle tried to warn Danny about Edmund, but due to her inability to put a sentence together, Edmund knocked Danny out before Mr. Santos even knew Edmund was there. Michelle was able to distract the menacing Edmund while Danny slowly came to. The grown men fought, and just when it was looking really bad for Danny, Michelle finally decided to help and knocked Edmund out with a pipe. But before they knew it, the indestructible man was up and sneaking out the door. Danny ran after him and ordered the screaming Michelle to call the cops. After Danny was unsuccessful in finding Edmund, he went back to Michelle to give her the news about their daughter. “Our baby is alive,” he said. Once he finally got Michelle to believe him, he dropped another bombshell: “Hope is our baby.” And if that wasn’t enough, here’s another one: “I’m the father.”
Dinah sought out Cassie. She wanted them to work together to make sure Edmund paid for his crimes. Mallet interrupted the gals’ conversation and Dinah was able to make a break for it again without the good cop knowing (he believed she was getting him a sandwich, but she fled). “We are doing everything possible to make sure you and Hope are safe,” Mallet promised Cassie. Then he realized that Dinah was gone. “This gets old real fast,” he sighed. Later, Cassie admitted to Mallet she thought Dinah was trying to do the right thing for once. Speaking of Dinah, once Edmund fled Danny and Michelle, he hitchhiked. He should have probably looked at the driver before getting in though, because it was none other than Dinah!
