Coop arrived at Olivia’s suite to find Buzz entertaining Emma while wearing bunny ears. Buzz explained that he and Emma had been reading a book about
bunnies when she got upset because she didn’t have a daddy bunny. Coop handed Buzz his engagement ring for Olivia. Buzz and Coop left Emma with a babysitter. Meanwhile, Olivia wanted to talk to Ava about Jeffrey. Ava
promised that she already knew that Jeffrey was a scumbag, but Olivia was skeptical that Ava wouldn’t want a relationship with Jeffrey.
Jeffrey’s arrest made the front page of the newspaper, so he decided to bring his version of his altercation with Olivia to the public. He claimed that no charges were filed and no one was hurt in the incident. He went on
to say that he had committed a youthful indiscretion: “My serious crime was nothing but a wild teenage boy hooking up with a wild teenage girl,” he
spun. Buzz heckled Jeffrey from the audience. Ava watched the speech with Olivia and wanted to turn it off, but Olivia thought they should keep watching — maybe someone would shoot Jeffrey, she said hopefully. When
Jeffrey’s press conference ended, Olivia told Ava about her mother’s death. Ava informed Coop she didn’t want to think about her paternity anymore, but Jeffrey arrived on her doorstep. “I think it’s time we talked,” Jeffrey told
Ava. Meanwhile, Olivia arrived home before Buzz was finished setting the mood for his proposal. They exchanged “I love you”s, and Buzz whisked her off to somewhere less ordinary.
Reva went to Billy’s room and when she found a glass, she wondered if Billy was drinking again. It turns out the glass belonged to Billy’s new female
companion. Reva asked for help with Alan, but Billy explained that he needed distance. “I think it’s better you go,” he said and kicked her out. Reva
vowed that she would be back. Billy marveled that his new lady friend was a football fan.
Cassie puzzled over the invite list and seating arrangements for Thanksgiving. Josh said at least they all could be thankful that Reva was still alive. Cassie invited Reva to holiday dinner, but Reva explained that she wasn’t yet prepared to spend Thanksgiving with Cassie and Josh as a
couple. Reva tried to return their mother’s broach to Cassie. “I don’t give
something away and then ask for it back,” rebuffed Cassie. “Neither do I,” responded Reva meaningfully. Josh received a call to meet a donor, but when
he arrived, he found Reva waiting for him. They had been set up by Marah!
Cassie asked Billy to Thanksgiving and he, too, turned her down. She
lamented the state of their family. “Cassie, what did you expect?” sighed Billy.
