Dinah got testy with Mallet as he helped her get dressed for their dinner party — she wanted everything to be perfect for their debut as a serious couple! Blake and Vanessa arrived, and Mallet immediately slipped that they were living together. Blake announced that Ross was coming home the following week and they should all get together again then. Olivia and Frank joined the party. Vanessa pulled Dinah aside and voiced her concern that Dinah might be setting herself up for disappointment with Mallet. Dinah and Mallet beamed over the success of their evening. Meanwhile, Harley tried to get Beth to confide what had really happened to Gus and threatened to take Beth down along with Alan if she didn’t confess. Rick warned Alan not to hurt Beth, and then Alan stormed in and ordered Harley to back off. Harley nabbed Alan’s cell phone and made a speedy exit. Harley retrieved a phone number from Alan’s cell and got Marina to produce the matching address…for a sanitarium. Harley called Mallet for back-up but had second thoughts and hung up on him. Mallet excused himself from the dinner party, telling Dinah he had to help Harley. Olivia, Frank and Blake left, and Dinah gave Vanessa the boot as well. Alone, Dinah threw a plate at the wall. Meanwhile, Rick returned Alan’s cell which Harley left in the waiting room. Beth wanted to rush off and find Harley but Alan claimed that Harley would be “taken care of” if she found the institution. Harley flashed her badge and gained admission to the sanitarium. After drop-kicking a guard, Harley and Gus were reunited. “Long time no see, babe,” he smirked.

Tammy was approached by Joey Lupo at Company. She gave Joey a hard time for splitting from Springfield without a word, but he explained that he had been blackmailed by Phillip. Joey promised that he had never forgotten Tammy and wondered if she was happy. She mused that if he had stayed in town, she wouldn’t have made the biggest mistake of her life. Joey asked Tammy on a date to Towers. Meanwhile, Lizzie met Jonathan at Outskirts. He promised to help her keep Ava away from Coop if she arranged a meeting with Tammy that night. While Lizzie was still mulling over his offer, Jonathan grabbed her phone and dialed Tammy’s number. Lizzie invited Tammy to a party but she was turned town. Jonathan and Lizzie tracked Tammy to Company, where she was still with Joey. Jonathan stormed into the restaurant and Tammy promptly asked him to leave. She believed there had to be a happier way to love someone than what she and Jonathan shared. Lizzie wondered if she could use Joey to get Coop back so she hugged Joey and apologized for her role in exiling him from Springfield. Lizzie pocketed Joey’s phone (There’s a lot of that going on today.) and called herself from his cell. Tammy worried that if she stayed with Jonathan there would be nothing left of her. She grabbed Joey’s hand and decided to take him up on his offer of a date.
