Over brunch at Towers, Alan and Beth were concerned by an oddly perky Lizzie’s insistence that she was going to win Coop back, and wanted Alan’s help. After they urged her to focus on the baby, Lizzie stormed out, upset that they were more concerned about the baby than her happiness.

At the farmhouse, Cassie and Billy discussed how solid Josh and Reva’s marriage is these days. Cassie told him that she was going to distance herself from Josh by spending more time in Tulsa, and getting back into business in town. In fact, she had a meeting that day with the general manager at Towers.

After waking up, Josh found the list of things Reva wanted to do before she dies, and offered to help her cross some off, but she said she wanted to do them by herself, starting immediately. He reminded her that they had a meeting with Jeffrey, but she actually had chemo so she told him that she and Billy were going to hang out. Josh took off in a huff.

Jeffrey and Josh sat down to lunch at Towers. Cassie, at her own meeting, eavesdropped on their conversation. Jeff asked Josh to build a veterans’ center in Springfield. Cassie interrupted them to talk up Lewis Constructions, which she thought would be perfect for the job. She took a picture of the men shaking hands.

At the hospital, Dr. McCabe met with Reva and Billy before Reva’s chemo, and explained that her treatments aren’t working, and her cancer is spreading. He told her about a clinic in Minnesota that was working on an experimental treatment for cancer. Later, she went home and told Josh that she needed to leave town for a while.

At the lighthouse, Jonathan got a call about Outskirts being reopened, as well as a letter from Tammy who apparently wanted to meet. Tammy had received a note of her own, and showed up thinking it was from Jonathan (Do neither of them recognize each other’s handwriting?). He thought things were changing for the better, so they could move forward from all this, but she couldn’t forget about the baby, and so begged for more time and space. She left. Alan randomly appeared, and admitted that he left the notes, and was also responsible for reopening Outskirts because he has Doris Wolfe, Springfield’s DA, in his pocket. Alan offered Jonathan a cigar and a way to fix everything, while keeping him away from the baby and Lizzie. He brought Jon to the airport and put him on a plane, promising Tammy would be his if Jon did what he wanted.

Meanwhile, Tammy was packing a bag at the Beacon so she could go back to the farmhouse for a while, when Lizzie wandered in. Liz pretended she was there to apologize for sleeping with Jonathan, but Tams quickly realized that her frenemy was really there to ask for her help in winning Coop back. Tammy told Lizzie to stop blaming everyone for something she got herself into and that she deserved what she got. In the midst of their fight, Lizzie doubled over in pain and cried out that something was wrong with the baby.
