Jonathan didn’t want to leave Tammy alone. Cassie said goodbye to her daughter and told Tammy that she loves her. Jonathan stopped the nurse from covering Tammy with a sheet, opting to do it himself. “She used to like it
when I tucked her in,” sniffed Jonathan. “She said it made her feel safe.” Jonathan left and Josh gave Sarah to the nurse so that he could tend to
Cassie, who wanted to begin making funeral arrangements immediately. Cassie met with a man from the funeral home, who was taken aback to learn that her daughter had just recently died. Cassie chose to have Tammy buried in her wedding dress. Then she was overcome with emotion and ran out of the room. Cassie and Josh returned to Tammy’s hospital room, which was now empty. Cassie lamented that she left Tammy alone. Josh assured that Tammy knew Cassie loved her. The nurse gave Tammy’s belongings to Cassie.

Gus was praying for Daisy when Alan walked into the church. Alan indicated that he was there to pray for Tammy. Gus thought Sarah might be a comfort to Jonathan. But Alan said the baby belonged with the Spauldings. Alan ordered
Gillespie to leave town, and “G” went to Daisy’s room. Gillespie informed Daisy that Tammy would make a full recovery. He convinced her to leave town with him to avoid prison. Gus arrived and Gillespie hid. Gus revealed that Tammy died. “Now that she’s dead, everything changes,” Gus told Daisy.
Gillespie snuck out of the room. Gus put Sydney in Daisy’s arms to give her
a reason to get clean.

Remy arrived at Dinah and Mallet’s room and when Mallet questioned him, Remy
admitted that he was the one using Mallet’s name to get information on Tammy’s hit-and-run. Remy shared his suspicions about Alan’s involvement in Tammy’s accident. Dinah received a call that Tammy had died and shared the news with a devastated Remy. Dinah, Remy and Mallet went to the Spaulding mansion, and Mallet informed Alan that they believed he was responsible for the accident. Alan used Lizzie as an alibi. Dinah spied a phone number scrawled on a piece of paper and whispered it to Remy. After his interrogators left, Alan burned the phone number. Jonathan walked in, blasting Alan for Tammy’s death. Alan said there was no proof tying him to the crime. “I feel very bad for your loss, but I am going to go after custody of little Sarah,” Alan shrugged. Jonathan attacked Alan and Spaulding security dragged
him away as Jonathan shrieked: “Murderer! Murderer!” Once Alan retired upstairs, Jonathan returned to
the mansion and set the room on fire. Meanwhile, Remy found Gillespie.
