Ava happily caught up with Emma before taking off for England with Coop. Olivia was surprised when Ava gave both of them gifts. Jeffrey thought
about Ava. Liv wished Ava good luck in England. “Are you up on the language?” Liv asked. “I speak English,” Ava cracked. Liv began to explain
how she was talking about British variances on words, like “jumper” for sweater, but Ava cut the conversation short and left.

Lizzie flashed back to when her grandfather had sent Jonathan a text message from Tammy. She vowed not to let Alan get to her. After, Jonathan gave Lizzie a gift, which she loved. Alan complained to Alan-Michael about Jonathan, but A-M didn’t want to hear it. After, Alan stopped by to see Lizzie, but she reminded him that she has a restraining order against him. He told her that he had it revoked. Alan asked where Jon is. Lizzie explained that he’s shopping for his family. Alan wasn’t impressed with the
gift Jon had already given her. Lizzie summoned Dr. Baker to take Alan to Ravenwood. Alan railed at her that Jon will never love her. Jon wasn’t really shopping. He and Tammy met in secret in the barn and had sex. He took
off his wedding ring before doing the deed. They were caught by Cassie, who
lectured her daughter about being the “other woman.” Tammy was confident that she wouldn’t be for long and that she and Jon would eventually be happy together. Cassie argued that Jon will feel guilty for hurting Lizzie and
will want to be involved in his daughter’s life. Beth found Jon’s ring in the barn.

Alan was aghast when he learned that Alan-Michael had offered Ava a cushy job at Spaulding. “I thought I was in charge,” huffed A-M. It was “England” night at Company, in honor of Coop and Ava’s move. Marina urged Coop to call Ava so they could get going. He noted that A-M likes Ava. “Alan-Michael likes any girl in a skirt,” Marina scoffed. Coop thought A-M was trying to
trick Ava into staying in town. Soon, Ava came by. Coop was anxious to get going on their vacation, though she was worried about being homesick. A-M went through Ava’s trash and was furious to find the letter he’d sent her. His assistant explained she’d given it to a “nice guy.” Realizing she meant Coop, a furious A-M fired her. Jeffrey tried to give Ava a gift at the airport, but Coop challenged him on whether he could be a good father to
her. Coop and Ava were about to board the plane, but their flight was delayed. Ava checked her phone messages and returned one from A-M. She was
confused when he mentioned the job offer.
