Dinah was with Mallet in their new room when Jeffrey called to nag about the Spaulding endorsement again. “I can’t do this anymore,” Dinah said to Mallet. She had something to tell him. But Mallet interrupted to tell her that he had informed his bosses that he wouldn’t make any more reports to the Feds. He wanted her to trust him, and Dinah vowed that she would never let anything come between them again. Harley and Gus showed up, investigating the Beacon fire. Harley agreed with Mallet that the person behind SpringfieldBurns.com was the most likely culprit. Dinah made a speedy exit and found Jeffrey. When he tried to pressure her for the endorsement, she reminded that she knew about his past too, and they should work together. Mallet watched as the partners-in-crime shook hands, cementing their new understanding.

Josh saw Reva outside Company, but she disappeared. Reva went to Cross Creek with Dr. McCabe. The doc wondered if she wanted to see Josh, but Reva realized that a confrontation wouldn’t go well. And, “If this is it,” visiting her kids was more important. Reva and McCabe said an emotional goodbye in the airport. She told him that he did everything he could, and she loves him for it. Meanwhile, Josh learned that Cassie’s house was up for sale, and Mrs. Chitwood handed him Cassie’s letter. Cassie wrote that she and Josh weren’t meant to be, so she had left town. At the airport, Reva turned to see Josh standing there. “You’re here,” he gasped. But Reva simply waved and boarded a plane before Josh could walk through security. Billy arrived at Reva’s New York hotel room, and she recounted the airport scene to him. Meanwhile, Josh showed up at Cassie’s door in San Cristobel. He explained that after seeing Reva he had a choice to make. “I choose you,” he told Cassie and kissed her.

Jonathan scolded Tammy for opening the hotel room door without checking to see who was there first. “If you wear those pants,” he warned of Tammy’s plaid atrocity, “people will want to do violence to you!” Jonathan planned to rough up the thugs who had kidnapped Tammy, but Tammy didn’t want him to do any such thing. Without telling Tammy, Lizzie gave Jonathan the information necessary to find Alan’s goons. Lizzie covered with Tammy that Jonathan had gone to buy her ice cream. Lizzie revealed that she was over Coop and discovered that her credit cards had been canceled, fretting that her life was “turning into a freaking country-western song.” Tammy gave Lizzie some cash. When Jonathan returned home with a bloodied hand, Lizzie lied to Tammy that Jonathan had punched a wall when he learned about her credit cards.
