To the strains of Greek music, the bridesmaids walked under an arch, while inside Company, Rick told Harley he opened Phillip’s casket and that his old friend was dead. Harley ran off, while elsewhere in a parking garage, Mallet also ran — gun blazing — after a shadowy figure.
The wedding guests stirred nervously as Harley ran under the arch and locking eyes with Gus, stopped in her tracks and just smiled. Gus said, “Ladies and gentleman, that’s my bride telling me in secret code she’s ready to get married.” Buzz ran after Harley. To a jazzy rendition of “Only You”, Harley, her dad and her sons walked down the aisle. Inside Company, Lizzie and Alex rushed in a little late and saw Rick. Lizzie remarked that Rick looked like he lost his best friend. When Rick walked outside, Lizzie panicked that she didn’t have money for a gift. At the wedding, Rick sat next to Beth, wiping his eyes with a handkerchief, when a piece of paper fell out of his pocket. Beth picked it up and got teary when she realized Phillip was really gone.
Ross asked if Gus and Harley were ready. Gus retorted that he was ready a year ago, and Zach said, “It should’ve been a year ago.” While the happy couple exchanged their heartfelt vows, Mallet watched inside Company on the TV and wondered how he could tell her that Phillip was still alive. His timing perfect, he ended up outside by the arch just as Ross asked if anyone objected to the union, but he said nothing. Gus and Harley exchanged rings and Ross pronounced them husband and wife. They kissed while Zach and Jude covered their eyes in mock disgust. Then they were swarmed by well wishers. Gus pulled his wife inside to kiss her lovingly.
At the reception, Marina told Danny she had spoken to Michelle earlier, while Cassie kissed Jeffrey passionately as incentive for him to perform with his band. Mallet congratulated the bride and groom; Harley told him Rick exhumed Phillip’s body, but Mallet didn’t let on that he saw Phil. Inside Company, Buzz also told Alex about the exhumation. Beth told Lizzie her daughter was making a mistake by not moving home. Lizzie claimed she didn’t care about her family or Spaulding. Later, Coop caught his girlfriend pilfering two envelopes of cash gifts. Finally Gus and Harley bid farewell to their family and friends, but before leaving for their Greek honeymoon, Harley threw her bouquet. Marina caught it and exchanged a sweet smile with Danny.
Inside, Rick looked at an old picture of himself with Phillip. Just then his cell rang and Phillip’s voice asked: “Are you alone? Can you talk?” Rick admitted the lying was taking a toll on him, and Phillip assured him that he needed his best friend’s help.
Meanwhile, Beth arrived at the sanitarium, minister in hand, and declared she was ready to marry Alan.
