GH’s Jax, Ladies Man Page 4

Comments

2002

Jax met (and was instantly intrigued by) the mischievous Skye Quartermaine. He taught her to open her heart, and they eventually fell in love and married. On the night of their wedding, Jax learned that Brenda was alive, after all, but she was dying of the terminal illness that she had inherited from her mother. Jax promised Skye that he was no longer in love with Brenda, though she was skeptical. Jax was paralyzed in an accident, and Brenda helped him through the rough ordeal. Skye discovered that Brenda was not dying, but didn’t tell Jax. He learned of the deception, ditched Skye and reunited with Brenda after informing her that she wasn’t terminal.

2003
Jax proposed to Brenda and planned to finally, officially, make her his wife. On the night before their nups, however, Carly witnessed a good-bye kiss between Bren and Sonny, so she spilled to Jax. The next day at the church, Brenda walked down the aisle to her groom. Jax revealed that he knew about the kiss and then left Brenda at the altar — claiming he couldn’t compete with Sonny. Brenda headed for Europe; Jax took off.
While he was away, Jax met Sam, a tough con artist from the streets. She followed him back to Port Charles because both of them were in search of special playing cards. To Jax’s annoyance, Sam quickly stuck to the Aussie like glue. But, in classic soap fashion, their mutual annoyance turned playful, leaving them open for romance. Still, based on Jax’s track record, we don’t think Sam should get too hooked … yet.
