GH’s Genie Francis: Don’t Blame Frank

GH’s Genie Francis, who was recently dropped from contract status as Laura Collins, has taken to Twitter to clarify some details surrounding the decision. “It’s been painful for me to see [Executive Producer] @valentinifrank receive so much of the blame for the decision to take me off contract. No one fought harder to re-establish Laura on @GeneralHospital,” she posted. “He has always been my champion & I don’t believe he took any pleasure in seeing Laura diminished.”  After Francis and Valentini had lunch together, Valentini tweeted, “Always great to spend time with the beautiful @GenieFrancis! @GeneralHospital #GH.”
