A forlorn-looking Alexis told Ric to focus on getting along with Sam. Am exasperated Sam, meanwhile, told Sonny that she simply told Alexis what she wanted to hear when she vowed to steer clear of Jason. Sonny pretended to be aghast, but he lied, too. Now that Alexis survived the operation, Sam is worried she could relapse. He pointed out that they don’t have to do exactly what they promised Alexis. Meanwhile, Ric brought Kristina and Molly to visit Mommy. Then Sam visited. Alexis said she misses dancing, and Ric is such a good dancer. She should give Ric a chance. Alone with Molly, Ric mused that she will always be first in his heart, and warned her that younger siblings need to be strong. Daddy is tired of living by Sonny’s rules, and now that he’s in charge, Daddy has a plan…. Sonny told Lainey that Alexis Doesn’t Know What Ric and Sam Did Last Summer, but she’s too sick to be told. For his part, Sonny is “done with him,” but fretted that his brother will use Kristina against him. Later, Lainey visited Alexis, who fretted over the Sam/Ric betrayal. Lainey asked what will happen if Sam and Ric bond (like Alexis wanted) but she survives? Lainey suggested this is all a secret test to see if Ric still wants Sam. Ric told Sam to be ready for the mayor’s party at 7, but Sam refused to go with him. He said it’s what Alexis wants. Sam said he makes her sick and stormed out.

Elizabeth visited Nikolas to complain about Lucky’s struggle with cleaning up, then told Nik she’s pregnant. She’s afraid that stress will push Lucky back to pills, so she begged Nik to talk his brother into professional rehab. She won’t tell him about the baby until he’s further along in his treatment. At the pier, Colleen mused to Spencer that Nik likes her, which angered Helena. She warned the nanny to concentrate on Spencer. Colleen suddenly pulled a knife on Helena — because Nik appeared. He chased Helena away.

Dillon told Edward and Alan that Lulu disappeared, but the surly Spencer quickly stalked in, followed by Luke. Luke called the Qs on their plotting and expressed disappointment in Dillon. Luke said “she, and she alone”
will make the decision about her future. Edward offered to pay off Luke, who threatened a lawsuit over the defective condoms. Alan backed abortion, but not his method of birth control. Edward suggested that Laura’s heart would be broken by an abortion. Alone, Lulu told dad she can’t see herself as a mom or signing over her baby to the Qs; abortion looks like her best option. She fretted over everyone’s unified opposition, but Luke told her to listen to her own heart to make “a decision that’s right for you,” because she’ll be living with it for the rest of her life. “I don’t know what I want,” she cried. “I don’t want to have a baby that’s not wanted, like you did,” and walked out, leaving Luke stunned. Dilllon inquired about Lulu, then got all blubbery and begged Luke to talk Lulu into keeping the baby. Luke found Lulu at the pier (where else?), where she apologized. She was taking Dillon’s wish to be a daddy to heart, but this is “no widescreen romance.” She wondered what Mom would want. Luke assured her Laura would want her to make a decision from her heart and not worry about what other people think. And, by the way, Lulu’s rough childhood didn’t mean Luke didn’t want her; he just did the best he could. Lulu’s decision isn’t about the past, it’s about her future.

Liz went to Sonny, saying she had to talk to Jason about something personal. Sonny was polite, but cautioned her: “You need to realize that Jason loves Sam.”
