At the penthouse, Sam tore into Alexis yet again, blaming her for all the losses Sam has suffered over the past few years. Alexis flipped and said she had had enough of Sam’s attitude and indifference and she refused to apologize any more. Alexis noted that Sam’s attitude will change when she has children of her own, then left.
At the nurse’s station, Robin was alarmed when Patrick had a dizzy spell. He chalked it up to hunger. “This is your charming way of asking me out to dinner?” Robin asked. No, he was bucking for an invite to her apartment for a home-cooked meal. Just then, an angry Noah flew in, enraged that Patrick hasn’t taken Noah’s name off the liver transplant list. Noah insisted it should go to a worthy recipient, not a drunk. When Noah pulled a flask from his jacket, Patrick slapped it out of his father’s hand. As Bobbie looked on, Robin advised Noah not to throw Patrick’s generosity back in his son’s face. Noah accused Patrick of wanting to look good in front of Robin and stormed off.
Just a Jax and Carly decided not to take things any further, they kissed and fell onto the couch. Jax then broke from the grope and accused Carly of being after him for access to John. Furious, Carly stormed out. Jax threw a glass across the room, then called Alexis and asked for her “help” with Carly. They must have talked off-screen, because Alexis then went to see Carly and revealed that Jax wanted Carly named John’s legal guardian should anything ever happen to him. Carly then dropped a bomb on Alexis, noting that in Sonny’s will, Carly is also named as Kristina’s guardian. “When hell freezes over,” Alexis fired back. Meanwhile, Jax visited John and re-iterated his motives for keeping the baby away from Nikolas and the evil Cassadine legacy.
Sonny and Emily were locking lips at Casa de Corinthos when Jason arrived. Just as he was about to open the door and discover them, Max faked a fall down the stairs, claiming he had tripped over one of Morgan’s toys. Em slipped out, and Jason filled Sonny in on Carly’s date with Jax. Sonny was skeptical when Jason said he thinks Carly might be falling for the bossy Aussie. The topic of conversation shifted when Jason filled Sonny in about Sam’s background — and that her biological mother is Alexis. Sonny laughed — until he realized that Jason was serious. “If this is your idea of a joke, then your sense of humor hasn’t gotten any better since your coma,” Sonny replied. Jason then showed him proof. When Sonny realized he had slept with a mother and daughter and gotten them both pregnant, he asked, “What kind of creepy, freaky crap is that? My life just turned into an episode of JERRY SPRINGER.” After their meeting, Emily arrived, laid down on the house and asked the man coming down the stairs to kiss her. It was Jason!
On the roof, Nikolas told Maxie that this was the spot where he and Courtney first acknowledged their feelings for one another. Rooftops in the rain are very romantic, Maxie noted. Nik then vented about his problems with Jax denying him visits with Court’s son. “How are you with brutal honesty?” Maxie asked. She then told Nik that his behavior gives Jax a case and suggested that he work on getting Jax to trust him again. Nik thanked her for her good advice, then changed his brooding location to the docks, where he bumped into Sam and they explained pleasantries. “I never met anyone who had their own island,” noted the secret Cassadine. He opened up about his connection to John. Sam sympathized.
Bobbie went up to the roof to talk to Noah. “What clicks on in your head that allows you to be so cruel to your son?” she asked her long-ago lover. When he stated he was dying, she pointed out that he’s not dead yet. They addressed some serious parental issues (and for long-time fans, it was SO great to see Bobbie and Noah sharing screen time again!). However, Bobbie was frustrated that no one could get through to Noah. “The most precious gift Tony gave Lucas was his last — unconditional love and acceptance,” Bobbie stressed. “This is not the way to protect your son.” And with that, she left Noah alone to think.
In the elevator, Maxie told Robin she saw “Dr. Hottie” in the locker room and pumped Robin for info on their relationship. The girls giggled about boys and dating. “Seize the moment,” advised Maxie. Robin went into the locker room, where a shirtless Patrick was talking on his cell, saying he’d bet 100 dollars “that she’d do it.” Robin wanted to hear no more and went home. Later, Patrick arrived with flowers. She was wearing a sexy dress; the apartment setting was romantic, and Robin started taking Patrick’s clothes off. When he balked, she brought up the bet.
Jax showed up at Carly’s, where they got hot and heavy all over again. In mid-grope, Nikolas arrived and stated, “Wouldn’t Courtney be surprised at how you chose to grieve for her?”
